The guard can't see this guy from his position inside the train so unfortunately the DOO argument doesn't really work here because the driver is doing everything, and no I don't agree with DOO.

Wouldn't have made a difference if there was a guard on board, guard looks out asks passenger to stand clear which they do then guard shuts all door and the idiot then does the same thing and the guard would be none the wiser as they're now inside the train with the doors shut and unable to see, also due to a guard being on the train the chances are the driver wouldn't be looking back like he was as he's trusting what the guard has done. And before I get ripped to bits I'm for guards on the train and yes I'm a Train driver and work DOO services and have done so for 30 years.

@@richardperry5538 I don't like DOO and believe the guard should always be on the train, but you raise a really good point here.

Just for some context here the person that this guy is calling a crabman knutter was trying to pull the green emergency egress handle which can manually open the the door incase of emergencys what this person was trying to do is just bring the train to a stop which should only be done in emergencys which this clearly wasn't

What many people don't understand is although it's obviously heart breaking to families that lose loved ones through a train accident many of us fail to understand what it does to the driver or any passengers

Time to book a trip to specsavers or vision express for yourself. A one under (person under a train) is not a nice experience for the train operator or, like me, the people who have to remove the parts left behind, let alone telling the family of the deceased that they fell under a moving train whilst acting a fool.

@@darth6466 if you are asking a question, then the answer is I have never worked in an office but if you are telling me that "I have had a few bad days in the office" why use a question mark at the end of your pointless comment? The general public, but you are lower than that, don't quite understand what it is like to see another human being after they have been hit by a train or the stress of the train operators that have hit them. Step off of your high horse because your comment is so special needs quality so go and get some specialist treatment.

@@darth6466 No. he is just explaining to you that there are many cases of people on the platform running alongside departing trains (waving to their friends leaving) who then trip and fall between the train and platform. Its nearly always fatal.
