It's like painting over pealed area or replacing skin over damaged area of the body, would that be a repair or cover up? Most of what we see or value depends on the way we look at it.

I agree. Go to eBay and get the ORIGINAL PART for about $60.00 U.S. Much better to replace than to patch. Just this ESCALADE owner's OPINION. Not a hater................... Nuff said.

Looks great and you accomplished what you wanted! Can’t imagine someone getting in my “escalade” and saying “why would you use a dash cover that works instead of spending thousands of dollars in labor for a new dash”. Or going through the headache of trying to replace it yourself. You do you!!!

@@tonyaatteberry Absolutely. As a "life long" Cadillac owner, I learned that if I couldn't afford the MAINTENANCE on one, I couldn't afford to OWN one. But.........that's just me. As stated by another person earlier, "It's a CADILLAC, not a HYUNDAI". Or something like that. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
