I continue my work on the BT-35 Starfighter by adding greebles to give the ship details and depth.

Title says part 2, but where's part 1? LoL A tip for previewing what it will look like primed, take pictures and grayscale them. Toy jets from Dollar Store make good parts for spaceships. And yes, model kits are expensive. Adam Savage mentions in his universal greeble video that for model kits bits they needed a lot of they glued the original bits to a block of wood and made molds. Well worth checking out. Glad to see you didn't "cheat" by jumping straight to your 3d printer for greeblies. Another great source are water pistols and spray bottle guts.

Part 1 is a few videos earlier.

I so regret getting rid of all of the leftover bits from years of building scale models (who knew years later I would end up returning to both scale models and tabletop gaming?). Oh well, just means I can rebuild the bits box through building new scale models (hooray for hobby synergy!). As mini painters (and other terrain crafters) say "most projects don't look good during the process until suddenly they look really good"

I could throw my bits box away and have another one made in less than 6 months. So easy to take broke stuff apart and toss it in the box for parts.

Always a joy, watching the Master at work! Anxiously awaiting the next video! You are right about keeping a bits box: there is something very satisfying about rummaging through and finding that second forgotten matching piece! What game is that ship modeled after? What can you tell us about that wood glue bottle?

The ship isn't modeled on anything specific... I just created in (in Part 1 video earlier) from scratch. I guess you could argue it has elements of an X-Wing. The glue bottle is called a Glubot -- great bottle. I bought one for my dad, too... he loves his - amzn.to/37GfIgP
