I am very new to all paper creating and crafts, so thank you for going thru basics. I know this is an old video but I'm glad I found it. Even if it's old school, it is new to me. Also, thank you for talking about SI and mental health. I suffered for too long despite reaching out for help that I didn't get before reaching a crisis. By the grace of God and first responders, I'm still here. I'm now a mental health and substance use counselor hoping to help others before they reach crisis. 💗

Catching up on your videos, as I have been out of commission the last little while ... sending hugs, I agree with what you have said about getting help. I have been on both sides of that, being the one who felt there was no other option ( I did get help ) & I have been effected by coming extremely close to loosing someone too. It’s ages since I made a double envelope like that, I used to make them into cards, & then have a gift tag in the pocket .. I think re inventing old favourites a good idea. Can’t wait to play your Digi kits x

Sorry for the loss of your student. Suicide is a response to overwhelming conditions , not always planned out. They end their suffering but the ones they leave behind are left with the pain and unanswered questions. I lost my only child to suicide at 33 from depression and highly intoxicated whose wife dared him. One of the things I have learned is to say one “completed” suicide instead of “committed”. Noone knows ones level of tolerance and we need to address depression and learn coping skills and reach out for help. Love your envelopes. I am working on a vintage journal using some pictures of my grandparents. Will try creating my own vintage collage papers and have copies made of them to use. Thanks for the tips.

I find that I seek out new channels whenever I have a new interest. I have recently started making junk journals, so I'm looking for ideas. Besides, giving me new ideas, I like to watch long videos, in which the youtuber is talking. (And, when I like their voice. Some voices, I just can't listen too.) So, your channel hits on all my points.

Amy, this is the first video of your I've seen, after Tina at Shabby something mentioned your channel. I have subscribed and look forward to many more informative and interesting videos. As I've watched you I've pondered why some KZfaq persons pique my interest and others I watch five minutes then go somewhere else. First of all I was impressed by your genuine care for others when you discussed the suicide of your student and your plea for depressed people to reach out for support. As a therapist (Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas) I thought everything you said was on point and expressed well. Many years ago a client told me that suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem I've never forgotten that wise saying. Also, I appreciate the natural style you have. There are KZfaq celebrities with smooth voice-overs, elegant studios, and thousands and thousands of dollars in supplies. Personally I don't really identify with those people very well. I appreciate their demonstrations but I'm left feeling I need to buy more stuff, instead of using what I already have. I like the people beset who have jobs and children and stress and they still carve out time for crafting, for sharing with unknown others, and caring deeply about what they do. Please forgive the lengthy comment. You impressed me and I just wanted to let you know you do a great job on KZfaq, and it sounds as though it is a reflections of the rest of your roles as wife, mother, teacher. Blessings to you and yours. Diane
@craftycat72125 жыл бұрын
Diane, thank you so very much for your kind and heartfelt comment, I was very touched. I would love for even one person to reach out for help due to this video. The suicide of a loved one is something you can never really get over, always asking why. I am happy that you like my style I will do my best to keep being who I am and sharing my art with all of you. Hugs, Amy💕😺

When using a date stamp you could use the 19 covering the June so it stamps on a scrap only putting down the 19, then go back and use the 23 next to the 19 stamping the June again on the scrap sheet. You will actually get 1923
