Thanks for sharing your collage with us. I adore Medieval Mirage and agree that anything you do with Jarf's papers turns out gorgeous. I hadn't thought of printing them on colored paper. Usually I print them on white sticker paper, but I have light Kraft sticker paper I could use too.

Looking so kool! I remember the fun of opening presents of everyone and rewrapping so they never knew I did it. I liked acting surprised. Even as a newly wed overseas with hubby I would peek at all of our gifts. I finally stopped when we had kids and I was doing all the wrapping for everyone.

Great project. My hubby had the upper respiratory yucky stuff a couple of weeks before Christmas and is just getting over it. Hope you and your son feel better. My favorite part of Christmas is seeing our two grand daughters open gifts. They are 9 and 6.

I had a very crafty Christmas, my hubby bought me some of the same things you got too, I enjoyed that. My husband and I just had a very quiet day after my daughter and her family came over to open presents with us. 🎄🎁🎄🎁🎄

My favorite part of the holidays was today when I put away all my decorations, I like seeing them when I put them up but then I get so tired of it and I need to go back to my minimalist decor. Your junk mail turned out awesome, I never get any really cool junk mail like that.

Amy, always love seeing your collages they come out so nice, I’m still practicing on mine even though they are still a hot mess😬 I would say one of my favorite parts of the holiday is baking and making jelly and then sharing it all with as many neighbors, family and friends I can. My favorite part of the holiday is always the day we get our tree. It's just my husband and I with our kids. We go to the same tree farm, cut it down, bring it home, put it up, decorate and watch Christmas movies. It's all fun and there's no gifts or shopping or expectations or entertaining and I don't even cook. We eat just a bunch of finger foods. I love it. This year I have to say added another special day. My son and his girlfriend performed in the Nutcracker. They were both so amazing and everyone got to come. It was fun to see them together doing something they love. Then we all went out for dinner and had so much fun Quality time with my family is the best gift ever. It doesn't get wrapped or put under the tree but it is never forgotten. From year to year I forget the presents I open but those memories stay with me forever. Merry Christmas again and Happy New Year.

This was my first "Craft with Me" that I actually crafted along with you! I am making pockets and tags for a journal that I am making using Medieval Mirage "Odyssey. Imagine my surprise when you pulled out the Medieval Mirage papers ;-} Our Christmas was very different from our norm, we usually go to Italy to spend the holidays with my husbands mother, brother and friends but this year we stayed in Virginia. It was just the two of us and my niece who is from Washington state but lives here because her husband is in the Navy and he is on deployment. We had a great day cooking, goofing off and watching christmas movies. Another difference this year was that since we didn't travel and bags on the airplane wasn't an issue my husband spoiled me, he got me a new eco tank printed and a new sewing machine with all of the fun fancy stitches! I am having SO much fun. Sorry you have sickness in the house, we have been able to avoid it so far. Happy New Year and Happy Crafting! TFS!!

My mom ordered all our Christmas presents from the Sears catalog (many moons ago) and one year i "accidentally" found the packing list that came with the order. i read ALL of it with glee-put it back right where i found it-and then was miserable. i was in no rush to open presents Christmas morning since i already knew what i was getting :/ hope you get to feeling better. wishing you a happy, blessed, and healthy new year :)

Loving this...I don't ever get junk mail like that...lol usually its a small piece or envelopes in bills...lol. Ooooo you was naughty unwrapping your gifts...lol. But gotta admit I did it a time or two...didn't unwrap completely but a corner to peak into. When my parents caught me they decided to wait until Christmas eve to put anything under the tree...bummer. Have everyone together eat tells story on each list to story from heads of the family this year was my uncle was ready to eat my mom had just ask everybody what was they thankful for so my food be she didn’t her him so he said my big sisters did this in sister fashion she is not a story about me wee let me eat and I want tell the secrets we have been waited on this secret for a 3 yr so happy holidays. I’m tell you when I saw medieval I’m like what what century are we doing Catholic Church i give myself a ring for Christmas try save for some type of Die Machine I need help this will be my first plus I want to learning how making cards ,photo album junk journals if I’m going be sickly let me find something or kid to do so thank you for sharing

You weren’t naughty! It was a good lesson, surprises are fun! I grew up without a mom too, it’s tough! I did all the things for my dad too like that! I grew up quickly! I don’t regret it tho, I’m far ahead of my peers, even today yet, and I’ll just say I’m over 60! Hang in there Hon, it ALL matters! Love to you!
