Wish to know its altitude and the time it stays in air, may depend on the string length and the power applied. Appreciate your craftsmanship sir, watching from Pakistan.

As you mentioned, it is difficult to answer because the altitude and the time it stays in the air vary depending on how it is flown. Thank you for your lovely comment. Sending my gratitude from Japan.

why doesn't it fly off the holding stick soon as it achieves enough rpm to lift? Seems like it keeps accelerating rpm until you stop pulling, then it launches. how does this work?
@janbanan-lt6fy
@janbanan-lt6fy 9 күн бұрын
Its becaurse the guiding sticks increase in speed and thus transfers the momentum to the blade. That causes enough friction to keep the blade in place and increasing in speed rather than escaping. If the rods are "slippery" enough (low friction), or start slowing down so that the friction is lost, the blade escapes and fly away. Thats why two sticks are used instead of just one that would have been at the center of the rotating blade. That wouldnt provide much friction too keep it in place.

Making things for pleasure is a lost art, worth keeping. Making a living is another thing! He is lost in time, a few moments thinking and visiting a 21C wood working shop would solve. Low wages are a curse to productivity.
