My first one was a square that was a custom work for my best friends birthday. Talk about pressure. I got it done in time it turned out beautiful. My best friend loved it she cried. That is how my addiction started. I love giving them as gifts.

I've been diamond painting for almost a year. I've been following you almost as long. I enjoy doing DP so much, that I just introduced my niece, who is a nurse and a full time caregiver for her sister who is 35 and autistic. She's got a full plate. Because she lives so far from me, I introduced her to you. I'm confident that when she gets started, it'll give her some her time, with a glass of wine and relaxation. I was given a kit for my birthday. I haven't done this art for five years, and wow has it changed! My new kit features teardrop shapes and way larger drills than I used before so a refresher was in order. Thank you for a clear tutorial.

Very informative. I purchased several from TEMU. I had no idea what I was purchasing. But, by doing this I found a new hobby. When I finish all from TEMU. Then, I will buy more expensive ones.

I just started a square dimomd painting and i have notice that the trick is to put them on straight, if you put them on the side ways its harder. And your wrist starts to hurt. So I order a square one diamond painting on amazon to see if i would be like it. It is coming out well. I'm left-handed and i start on the opposite side. It seems to work for me. My first diamond painting was a circle. The square seems to be a little changeling. But that's my opinion. Thanks for taking time to share your wisdom/ experience.

I've done a lot of dps, so have a lot of spare blue pens, I bought a resin pen off amazon that had metal multi placers and I glued the ends into the blue pens, so the resin one I put 1 drill placer and then in a blue pen I superglue a 2 placer in one end and 3 in the other end, in another pen I put a 4 and a 5 then a 6 and a 7 and so on. So helpful, love the metal ends.

Thanks for this. I am new to diamond painting. So far I've only completed one and I'm working on my second one. They are both rounds. I just ordered my first square diamond painting, and was nervous about trying a square one. I only ordered this particular one because you could only get it as a square painting and I absolutely love the image. I feel a little better after watching you start this square one. Also, thanks for the tip on what to do if your canvas loses some of its stickiness. That happened to me on my first one.

Thank you! I found your site yesterday and have watched a few so far. I find you easy to listen to and to understand. 🙂 I did purchase one smaller set from Amazon and opened it and checked it out. That is as far as I have gotten so far. lol Tonight watching this, I feel a lot more confident. I think I need to get a light pad so I will be able to see better.
