I'm really new so I'm just doing a 20 x 20 sunflower budget kit. It's my third canvas ever, and I'm learning so much.

I’m working on Fishing Retreat 98x70cm, this was a gift from my daughter for Christmas. My son was the hardest to watch and let go. I’m not much of a shopper either. I worked with people and children for years, now I just want to stay away from people unless it’s on the phone. I work from home now. That’s why I normally just want to lisaten to you and others, because I enjoy it but I’m not in the middle of it. I have anxiety and depression, so now my husband and I sit at night listening to you guys or coffee shop music. He’s finishing drawings for work and I diamond paint. Hang in there, I understand ❤

I appreciate how open you are with mental health. I’m sure you help many people. Hopefully the sadness missing driving the kids to school passes soon: change is hard!

Oh the Daisy story is so funny. My son is still eating the fridge empty. And my daugter when she is at home. Prepare, but enjoy being around them and see them become great people like you and your husband. When you are blinking your eyes they take big steps. I am working on Star Chaser by DAC. I completely understand how your feeling with seeing your kids grow up and them not needing you as much anymore. I only have 1 child and she's in college and I still look at her as my little girl and she's 20!!! The feelings are so real!!!

I love your videos your honest and say what’s on your mind. I’ve listened to a lot of your videos YOUR A GREAT MOM it’s hard to let go of your babies but your doing a wonderful job I think adjusting. I raised 2 boys, 2 years apart in age. I didn't think I would survive the teenage years with how much they were growing and eating. I certainly spent a TON of money on clothes and food! And yes, they wore shorts and no jackets in the winter when it was only 20 degrees outside. As far as what I am working on, I've taken a short break from diamond painting to crochet and work on my new passion, resin art. I have a diamond painting in the works, but I haven't touched in at least a week.

Hello my dear Mrs Coffee, it can be very stressful with all the changes our children go through, they grow so fast and I did not have my mom around to help me with all of this and like you said there is no handbook about it. On the outside we see you and you are doing a wonderful job with all that you have on your plate ❤❤. I know that you do it, but always take the time you need, you mh, your family always come first. Thank you for all you do, cannot stop saying it.🥰🥰

Oh my goodness. When those boys grow, they just grow! My son lived with us until he was 21 and he moved back to Illinois with some other family. I swear my grocery bill cut in half after he left. It took a while to learn how to cook for just me and my husband. He kept asking me why I was always cooking for an army. Lol I’m currently working on Dewey from diamond heart club is a 13 x 13 diamond painting. He’s quite cute.

I’m working on Lose Something from DAC. Wow all I can say over the storms is that Vancouver hasn’t had that much snow in an over night in over 10 years. Also as a mom of two teen boys they have two hollow legs and start eating at 12 year olds don’t stop till 19-20 years old.

I have been watching you for nearly two years now and enjoy listening to you talk about your family and furbabies! We raised 3 boys close in age and they were constantly hungry! We had a son that never wore coats or hats and it drove me crazy. Your plans for your craft room sounds wonderful! Take care!

It is absolutely beautiful. I've been having a lot of trouble with my depression. Ever since I lost my youngest daughter Becca I just can't seem to get back to being me. I am trying to force myself to work on Remember an 81.3 x55.8 from DAC. While dealing with depression and grief are keeping me in the sit and stare mode! I raised two boys that would eat an entire large pizza each as they watched a movie!!!

I own my home, but vendors occasionally come in to fix stuff, move stuff, fix things, etc. My protocol has been to not hover but stay in the next closest area so they can holler if needed. I’ll move into a living room, or office, etc. Wherever is close but allows him to do the job without feeling pressured. It I’m sure they are used to all kinds.

I feel like I've missed watching your stories about maggie. With the way how life is with work and working on my masters I look at a diamond painting and just think, "I do not have time for you anymore" I get home super exhausted. I miss having time for it though and i used to sit down and listen to you talk. I did go back to crocheting so my current wip my first ever cardigan

Also I feel ur pain about new beds lol. Not only do I have a 15 yr old so. But I also have a 12 yr old daughter and they’ve both been needing an upgraded bed for the last almost 2yrs but unfortunately we haven’t been able to get them for financial reasons. I’m working on a 50.8x76.0 Snow Cabin Ornament. I started right before Christmas and I’m not going to switch until I finish. Boys grow so fast and eat,eat, and eat…. My son is 6’2 and I’m 5’3 . So happy you are starting to crochet again. I love being multicrafty ❤

I am working on a 20x16 inch Diamond Dotz round kit, Dalai A Pirate Ship. We just had to get our son a full size bed because he got too big for it. He has a size 15 foot and is 5ft 8inches and only 16! He is my only one and yes I get sad when I think about the near future when he is on his own. I think I will truly go crazy and have to bury myself in Diamond Painting. I already feel like he doesn't need me, he has his driver's license and is so independent. I am so proud of the young man he is becoming , but at the same time I feel like he doesn't need me anymore. So, I completely understand what you are so saying.

This is so normal for Orion. I only have the one son (now grown married, with 2 sons). However, he was a skinny string bean for yrs and I worried about his weight and health. My Father would always tell me, "he's fine, he'll be eating you out of house and home soon.". Boy oh boy......he didn't lie! For just the two of us (single parent), I would buy 3 gallons of milk every week.😂 Try not to stress yourself and cherish your babies at every stage and ENJOY the journey! ❤

Both of my kids ( 1 boy 1 girl ) were ravenous😂🤣. I feel ur pain wholeheartedly as it’s hard to watch our babies grow up, but it’s also amazing to see & watch them come into their own. Right now I am working on 30x30 DP from Temu. It’s round drills & it’s a flaming black Gibson Les Paul guitar. It’s going to be a gift for my daughter’s dad which is my bff. He has a treasured Gibson Les Paul so I just had to do it for him😍😘. Ur in my thoughts a prayers Mrs Coffee as I suffer ( & my kids as well ) with mental health. I wish I could tell you that the hunger slows down but we haven't reached that stage yet. I spend so much money on food weekly, its crazy! My daughter is 20 and doesn't eat half of what my son eats. Sure she went through a couple of growth spurts but never like my son did. Just wait until his voice starts cracking! Its almost time! Love the breathing story!!!! I live in an apartment complex now and it's a gated community so I'm not all worried that my place is unattended by me but I always leave maintenance alone cause its such a small place when I was getting my water cylinder replaced, I didn't have a choice, anything small I'm usually around. I've only been living their 4 months now and still needs work but 90% of it is done. It's normal to not want to leave maintenance their by themselves tho ❤ I'd freak out if I was in a normal living house situation. Like a two story or bungalow etc.

I totally feel for you watching them age. My daughter pointed out to me that in May, my oldest will turn 21. Then, in August, she will start her Sr year of school and turn 18. In September, her twin sisters will turn 16. Also, her other older brother turns 20 in October, so he will no longer be a teenager. She came in swinging, and I cried. I'm currently working on Sunset Crossing from Craftibly, the older version, so it's 60x100 cm

You ain't seen nothing yet. Just hide food in your bedroom closet so you won't go hungry. If you usually get 2 of something, just get 4. Teenagers are kitchen locusts. My current WIP is "Secret Temple" 98 x 70 cm & full of confetti goodness.

Welcome to the club we all are sorry when this time comes with our children. There’s a sort of restlessness we get, just craft your way through it. My older two children were about the same distance apart as yours. Then when the youngest of the two was 18 I remarried and had another son. So I did it twice. Teenagers have extra sleep hormones, so they do sleep more.

lol not sure what the proper protocol is but I live in a trailer house so I can pretty much see where they’re at. Except when they had to be in the bedroom once for the breaker but hubby was in there. Yay for crochet. I’m good with whatever you do. I’m too busy crafting and listening. That app sounds so cool. I get it though I walked my kids back and forth to school up through 6th grade. It was such a change when my oldest rode the bus in high school. I’m working on that crochet blanket for my mother in law. The one you said the center looks like a a**hole. I can’t I unsee that now. But it’s also appropriate love my MIL but she is a little of a a**hole so now it’s going to be me and hubby’s joke when we give it to her😂 I don’t like shopping and don’t get me flowers.
