I never throw my scraps away. You can use anything. Ribbons, washi tape, yarn, put some color on the edges, etc. so many options!

Yay! I do this with my scraps to whole pages to cover white in journals. I add pockets to give space for journaling cards, tags, writing paper etc. it has really helped me to keep the scraps to a minimum. It kills me to throw out my favorite paper scraps! So relaxing, too. Yours are beautiful. Thank you!

Nice tag. Reminds me a little of the "Navy Blue and Square" color combo where you created a tag background of collage square pieces of book pages. I loved that one too.💛

I did not see this process in Somerset, but I made a bunch of theses collage strips a few weeks ago in different configurations. I plan on sewing the edges on some. A lot of them got stiffer once the glue was good and dry. Others will hold together better once they are decorated. Very fun. I had to laugh because listening to you talk, I do the same thing. Either I watch the kind of KZfaq videos on my iPad that I can listen more than watch, watch tv or I pop in a dvd that I have in my craft room that I’m very familiar with while crafting. Day goes fast when having fun making stuff!

I have been doing this quite awhile now had a lot of scraps from card stock and book pages they turn out so cool we are having very hot and humid happy about some wind so hot and humid barely can breathe your strip piece will be great projects have a beautiful weekend ❤

I tend to throw everything in the same box when I'm crafting and it's just a big pile of every size. Ugh! (I hate the eyelets that don't squish correctly. I bought the cheap ones and have regretted it ever since!) Ah, crafting is so fun and challenging at times!

I really like this! I will definitely try this. Thanks for the inspiration. I’ve made tags with strips going across but I love the way the tops of the strips are not glued down and it adds interest and texture.
