anyone who mentions Southgate are just not being realistic because both goals we conceded were self inflicted howlers so of course teams like Brazil and Belgium will always have moments in the game at some point because of the pace they have but this time around i feel Foden coming in from the left with Rice sitting deeper with Mainoo and Bellingham worked well we looked very fluent and definitely had options in the centre something we lacked massively against Brazil also the way Belgium setup, very narrow compact sitting deep i was very impressed with the composure we showed on the ball in tight areas because this for me is very crucial because we had Chillwell on the overlap outwide and Bowen down the right it always kept that Belgium defence honest throughout the game so yeah its night and day both games for me also did you notice how depleted those Belgium players where in the final 10 minutes? we controlled that game from start to finish that Belgium team dug deep in that game listen im happy ive seen way more positives tonight which installs just a tad more belief inside of me that if we go deep in the competition we just might have the keys to unlock the better teams IF we go out there and believe and take the game to the opposition

Majority of you didn't watch the whole match, but I did. England did well in this match, played with possession in mind, they would need to remove Dunk and get Gomes as first choice partner with Stone, it' should be 2:1 England. Engand also has Kane and Saka not playing. With that in mind, England should use Madrid formula in the front (Bellingham + Saka + Foden ) adding Kane in the leading line to put opposition back line. Rice has to prepare his physie , Mainoo would be good assset to open option for the front 4.

England did not look dangerous because we were lacking 3/4 of our A team. There was very little venom left with key wingers and our main striker out. Our entire defensive line was out injured so this is probably the best chance to try some new talent. Thats probably why southgate took this friendly as a chance to try out a few newbies - because we need replacements. Especially for Kane. So of course we are going to look weak - it was a weak team by design for the sole reason it's a friendly. What we did get from this game and the one agaisnt Brazil is that we have some newbies coming through, Bowen, Gordon and Mainoo were looking pretty solid andneed some experiance under their belt with Toney not looking too shabby. How else are you going to bring up the new guys if you keep relying of the A team for everything? this was an oppotunity to see our own weaknesses and try and fix them before the big games. the game expose how desperate we are for backups for key players, I am not fan of his managment style on the pitch, but in this case I can certainly appreciate the fact he was attempting to prepare us for losing big names. Its something we have to be ready for in 3 months time. We know Madison can replace bellingham if need be, which is why he was kept in, and we are learning that Bowen could - with time, take sakas place. We are learning that the new defenders need more experiance and time with the vets and we saw that without Kane we are lacking finishers. These are all things a good manager would have noted ater these two matches. These last two games were meant to be a learning experiance, winning would have been nice, but whats really at stake aside bragging rights? France conceded in the first 7 seconds to a weak german team but i can't see anyone giving them a verbal kicking for it. If it was England we would be SLAMMED by everyone. We need to be ready for anything int he Euros, and at least now the new guys have a taste of top level international games. better now than at the euros

First goal was given to Belgium from Pickford and Dunk essentially gave them their second goal, albeit from a great pass from Lukaku.
