This is a great story as it was mine and my brothers sleds that broke through a week ago. We had to step off our sleds and fill our boots with cold river water. Luckily my step son raced past us at full speed and some how did a U turn and raced back upstream to stable ice otherwise we may have been stuck there into the night or longer. We managed to ride out in my stepson pull behind plastic otter sled for 6 hours to the truck in 70 mph north wind in the high country. I’m way too old to ride on my knees in a plastic sled with my brother. We bounce around like the last two tic tacos in the box. I meet Craig a week later and had no idea who he was. To me he was just another able bodied helper in a snow machine suit. Thanks for posting this video Craig. I can’t thank you enough
