Crankcase breather replacement on a CAT motor

If you can find a non maintenance filter its definitely a better option compared to having the OEM filter plug up and blow your seals and have too much pressure

It's hard to find anything outside of CAT that's available plus a lot of the parts are generic. My engines just an ACERT c13. Nothing special. I tried to get a custom exhaust manifold one time and it didn't fit. There's just not much on the market. That filter doesn't even come out. It's all one piece as far as I could tell unless I was missing something. It would be a pretty specific part for somebody like Baldwin or Donaldson to make. It would only work for some models of CAT. I can't see them producing that part especially for engines that are around 20 years old.

@@aftersolo yea im not sure. i just read its got some pressure relief valve in it too so just removing the filter inside the C13 completely is probably not a good idea.

I they make a no maintenance filter for the ISX. probably get one aftermarket for CAT too

Maybe. It was actually pretty cheap. Surprised me with that yellow paint surcharge.
