Having read what you've showed us, his "Wanna test it?" shows his misplaced confidence in his knowledge.....same as the uniformed "polite" guy at the van. If the next Sgt was genuine, fair play if he does pass your comments on. If the police want some auditors to not be aggressive, they should attempt to lighten their initial response.

PC 11884 seems to be more interested in protecting the "rights" of the criminal his dignity than in upholding the law. Inventing a public order offence over one swear word said in sentence to emphasise a point is not swearing AT him. He's more interested in acting aggressive and big (like his belly) and satisfying his ego that thinks he can win a point over an auditor.

Hi, great work as always, thank you. Just on the Harvey case if that's ok, it said that police CAN be 'victims' under the Public Order Act, but their threshold is much much higher than for ordinary members of the public, because the nature of their job makes it reasonable to expect them to accept swearing from people they approach. Those big fat cops were really arseholes weren't they 🤣🤣 - there was no way that the Act could be used in court against you by the gigantic second one.

@ianhill45859 ай бұрын
Is dick even a swear word? Its a diminutive of "Richard" , its implied as a swear word, nothing more . Like Yardley Ski using "Foxtrot Oscar", cops have said "ooooh it's swearing" ,-- nah it's not, it's 2 words of the NATO phonetic alphabet that the police use themselves.!! The swearing is implied only.
@stuartb45259 ай бұрын
@@ianhill4585 To me using dick in this context, what AA was saying don't be an idiot. That's how I read the situation. And no I firmly believe it isn't a swear word. As you say it's original usage is a shortened version of the name Richard.
