Hey Mr. Richard. I’ve been watching you for about two years. Thank you for all the tips you give. I applied them to my fishing and the sac-a-lait count has really picked up. Mr. Gene you remind me of my grandfather more closely than anyone else. That is a an awesome thing. He was my favorite person on this earth and taught my brother and me about fishing every chance he had. I can't tie a knot, wet a line, or bend a tip without remembering him :) Thank you so much for your informative and entertaining videos and thank you also for reminding me of another great fishermen, my grandfather. I will continue to go fishing when I can, because I know it's good fur me!

I watch so many of his videos that I sometimes go off into REM sleep listening to ol Rich lol. Open water Crappie can be tough fish'n. There off of structure here too. Last year all our lakes flooded, much like what is happening now where your at. This year has been exceptional fishing so far.

I went yesterday and wanted to use my cane pole I caught 2 black crappie then a bass hit my minnow and broke my cane pole about 3 feet from the tip , I put it up went back to my ultralight and wound up with 8 crappie and one bluegill not a limit catch but a nice catch I fish to eat and it was a nice day , love your videos , fishing machine keep a tight line.

Great Vid! I really slayed the Cats,Fri-FRi Nite & Sat morn. Must of caught 130 lbs or more total.Gave away prob 50 lbs or so.They were on it! Was off the Chattahoochee around Columbia,Al.Guess they were spawning or about to spawn. Huge Egg sacs in several of them.Just got done cleaning ones i kept couple hrs ago.Did loose a huge cat,just out of reach of net.There was Blues,Channel & Flathead s(One Huge One).Actually let the biggest one go,prob around 20 lb,as he was just hooked in mouth & not hurt.

I never used slip bobbers before or a boat with depth finder. So I have to try a lot of depths and areas to get after them unfortunitly.

Richard, like to see you do another special or least add info about the bobber stop methods you use. As in the mono you are using for a stop. I have tried several things including the rubber stops, but the tied mono stop is working best for me and my spinning reels. How do you tie the mono please ? I have tried several ways myself.
