If you soak your fish in salt water and ice it draws the slime/blood/gamey taste out of any fish. That and build your own dry mix, if it tastes good before you fry it it'll be awesome after.

Shooting docks is a blast. It’s one of my favorite freshwater techniques because not a lot of people are doing it so while glitter boats are beating the banks I can slay fish this way. Doing it on an ultralight rod is even more fun.

Another excellent video Robert! I love me some Crappie! A little tip when frying them, when done instead of putting them straight on paper towels, put them on a rack over paper towels. This helps excess oil to drip off and they stay crisper because they are not setting in the oil.

How do you record with all three GoPros at the same time? Do you leave them on loop and just change the batteries when they die every hour or so? I can imagine you cycle through the batteries pretty quick and it’s probably a hassle taking 10 minutes every hour to shuffle around and change batteries without dropping things in the water.
@YakFishField

I usually have one in loop mode to catch the hook set, then the others I’ll turn on after I set the hook. And yes, I lose at least as many fish doing that as you’d think, haha. May try to hard wire one to a 12V eventually.

In Florida as a kid i would destroy everyone. All you need is a small hook, a taller and finger size J hook preferred. Then you grab a loaf of bread for bait🥖Thats it! I developed a breadba pinch method specifically for these fish because they are good hook thiefs.. you have to grab a pinch then squeeze it between 2 fingers so its a TIGHT BALL of bread. If you do not do that part, they rob your bread 9 times out of 10. If you pinch the bread onto the barb, the lil bastid crappiefish and sunfish always get caught👌😎
