I always bet the big 6 or big 8 because I know the people running the casinos work hard and so do the owners and to thank them for the good time I am having I like to take a little less from them when I win... I guess I am just a better person than the guy in the video!

You should not make big 6 or Big 8 bets. because they only pay even money. The casino advantage on this bet is 9.12% Instead, you should place the 6 or 8, because you will be paid 7-to-6. Thanks for the kind words. We enjoy making videos about casino gambling and giving advice on the best ways to get the most value for your money. Unfortunately, most people never bother to learn about how to be a better gambler. That is unfortunate because their gambling bankroll would last much longer if they just took some time to learn a few basics about gambling. In the long run, you won't be able to beat the casinos, but you can have some fun. Just make sure you set a budget and only use money you can afford to spend on your "entertainment".

I m taking a look on how to play craps and roulette. The layout and the design of the craps table is nice and shooting the dice may look a fun game. But c´mon...... roulette is much easier to learn about it and bet. Just a ball landing on a slot is enough..... so, sorry craps, I ll gamble on the roulette.

Seems like the best craps bets to make are placing the 6&8, betting on the pass line and placing x times the odds on the free odds bet and betting the come bet. This way you can root with the shooter (always fun to do) and you are making the smartest lowest house edge bets on the table. Like Steve said only have 3 numbers working at any one time.

mdaje The smartest highest percentage bet possible is don't pass/come with full odds. Although that leads to rooting against the shooter and probably everyone else. It's only very slightly better than pass/come.

Is the come bet a contract bet just like a pass line bet? If the point for the shooter is established and I do a come bet and say it's a 9 can I take that down or is it a contract bet ?

You can't take down your come bet once the come point has been established. It's just like making a pass line bet, only you are betting on the next roll, rather than the come-out roll.

On the come out roll if you wanted your place bet to be working would you lose if a 7 is rolled?

Yes. You would lose if you had your place bet working on the come out roll and a 7 was rolled..

Does this seem good? On the come out roll I have five on the pass line and five on the don't pass line Once the point is established I place $27 across, $5 on the seven, and $5 on the pass line bet odds

Andrew Tanner I would say that is not a good method of betting. The any seven bet is the worst bet on the table and carries a house edge of almost 17%. You should simply make the bets with the lowest mathematical advantage for the house. This can be done whether you are betting with the shooter, or against the shooter. Either way, you can easily make bets that only have around a 1% house edge.

+Nicholas Awesomepants Seven is the worst mathematical bet on the craps table. You can win on occasion if you get lucky, but in the long run that very high casino edge will wear you down and you will be a big loser. It is one of the worst bets in the entire casino!

+americancasinoguide I agree. it is the worst, and I rarely make that bet. but sometimes there is a sequence of sevens one after the other. even though, I am not 100%, most of the time I win the seven bet. I'm not saying every time I make it. it's just luck and predections. anyways, your tutorials are awesome and helped me out a lot :). have a good day

At 3:20, what if the shooter rolls a 6 on the come out where my come bet is placed? Would I receive even money for the come bet in the 6 box and the odds returned to me (unless I request the odds be active on the come out)?

2 3 12 on first roll is a loss....7 11 on firs roll is a win....if your number is 5 rolling a 7 is the only number you will lose on....

Yes, look up Archie Karas. He destroyed Binions in the 90's playing craps. Playing 200k a roll. He also won millions playing poker. So he was basically a unicorn. Most people won't win playing craps, especially that kind of money

You didn't mention how the story ended. The problem is that Archie Kara lost it all back.
