Crash Bandicoot 2 (PS1) gameplay 4K 60 FPS in Duckstation emulator

Let's continue once again with the classic! This one is Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back. You know, back in the day when Naughty Dog was doing platformers and such? If you don't know, then check this video out.
As usual, when you have a nice looking 3D polygons, Duckstation will make em even better looking. The problem with the 60 FPS is that some parts of the game are sped up - check out the retractable pillars or jumping skeleton fishes in Hang Eight. Their speed animation is probably tied to FPS. Other than that I think the result is quite satisfactory.
Once again, don't mind my gaming skills - couple my mistakes to lousy buttons on my stupid gamepad, and you get lots of stupid mistakes.

why when i play that diamond thing doesent appear. i also use duckstation. @19:19 anybody else have this problem??

I know this is an old comment, but that blue platform only appears if you've collected the blue gem. You get the blue gem by completing Turtle Woods without breaking any boxes.

how did you enable 60fps?????

You need to enable 8mb ram mode and overclock the CPU for atleast 205%. You can do even more if it doesn't speed up the game movement. There are also some cheat codes to enable 60fps which I 'm about to explore soon

@@kristijan893 ily sir. subbed and liked. I set it to 372% and it worked, and I increased to 400% for good measure. It runs noticeably faster........ WOW. At first I thought it just sped up the game... but no, this is 60 FPS, how it should be.... mind is blownnnnnnnnnnn. Thank you!

@@kristijan893 WOW it's so much nicer to play like this!!!!! I did notice..... some enemies are much faster tho, like flying fish out of the water, etc. lol. BUT you're faster too so it makes sense, everything is faster.. right?

@@realbeetlejuice overclocking will speed up some animations that are bound to FPS. Maybe there is some workaround in a form of cheat to do normal 60fps. I have yet to try it. I think I didnt force NTSC but I cant remember to be honest

bro 16:23 that white invisible boxes issue, how do i fix it? Anyone facing the same issue plz reply. Im on android using duckstation latest playstore build.
