There is one monkey you do have to kill, since it takes a key and won't drop it. Also the Monkeys start attacking you later and trigger after you get a trap.

It was the most balanced of the four games (Chronicles doesn't count). It had the right amount of action, platforming and puzzles.

This game is bad because it isn't an actual Tomb Raider game. And it is not really abo8ut Lara Croft herself. It is a bunch of people remembering her since she disappeared after The Last Revelation. That's how it is. And so a bunch of people that knew her keep telling stories about Lara that haven't been told. The game is actually a sort of a "Lost Chapters" game where the developers could wave Lara goodbye since the Team that did the PS1 games was about to close its doors.

Too many level locking glitches in this one.

The problem of the ps2 version isn’t even the graphics, but the amount of content cut from the game! They made it VERY shorter than the original, which was already short lol But anyway, I really like underworld!

I had never completed TR3 when I was young. So I decided to give it a bash on the remasters. I loved India, I loved Nevada, I loved the Pacific Islands. I’m now on the London levels and I’ve put the game down for months! I hope I enjoy Antarctica more.

Your the gamer who probably loves underworld and legend. Think you should rather watch people play games than play your self.

Imagine 1999. Playstation. No unlimited saving but save points. No KZfaq. Extremely brutal.

Tomb raider 3 is the OG dark souls. Even the guides were not that useful. You need to have pre existing knowledge of many traps to pass them and even then, finding paths is not easy due to the environment blending in so well. Not to mention health kits and save crystals are sparce. It doesn't help Nevada removes your items. Lets not forget how dark psx version is.

TR in general is insane difficult and not transferable to modern days of casual gaming. It is literally almost impossible to solve without a strategy guide. My dad used to stay nights over nights on one level (even with a strategy book) nowadays the games tell you what to do and you can jump with a 5 seconds delay without any consequences back then it wasnt like that.

Tomb Raider has become remarkably easier in the Remasters, even without using Photo Mode, which makes it too easy 😅 I never would have thought that TR3 would become my favorite one, I already love the story, but playing it too?! Can’t wait for TR4 😍

I remember I bought this pre owned and expected it to be great, I played all of the tomb raider games and expected the same, I wanted the same. I ended up just running around the town, not knowing where to go, and didn't care about the story. It was awful.

Chronicles was very underrated in my opinion. The only part i disliked was the tight rope walking otherwise outside of that it was decent

is it original PS1 graphics? on 33:16 i can see foot traces on the snow, PC version dont have it. and colors are different

This video is WAY TOO LONG. Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation takes 17 hours for the main story and 24 hours to complete. Tomb Raider II takes 16 hours for the main story and 21 hours to complete. Tomb Raider III takes 20 hours for the main story and 24 hours to complete. That's nothing compared to modern games, Shadow of the Tomb Raider takes 13 hours for the main story but 43 hours to complete. Also, it's the best game in the TR franchise, I can't wait for the remaster.

It’s not long enough

Initially i was kinda disappointed with Underworld as a sequel to Legend, the story, the tone just didnt gel with what Legend established, and it also lacked features that were in Legend, like level replay, unlocking costumes, the treasures felt meaningless. But the core of the game was still really enjoyable. These days i'm no longer that harsh on it, since it was the last game where we saw Lara as she was more/less originally intended to be, what a Tomb Raider game was intended to be.

Underworld's art style is what current Tomb Raider should look like today!

That "music" is atrocious and painful to listen to. I had played this game many times before in a friends' house, but because there were a number of kids always talking (and 2 TVs in the room) this is the first time I'm getting to know just how utterly crap the soundtrack was

I remember thinking TR2 was amazing when it came out; and then absolutely hating TR3, and not even finishing it. I'm glad I'm not alone.

the first time i played TR3 i quit on the Lud's Gate level and the second time it took 3 plays to get me to finally make myself play through the pain of the level. Totally worth it to be honest

I just finished the Lost City Of Tinnos level and omg it was a total nightmare!

Underworld is too dark and bland. After the first level, everything is grey.

Honestly the game wasn’t hard as people complain about. Yes it took me a month or two to complete but nothing like people saying. Now I’ve just beat the remastered in less than 6 hours while getting all secrets

The main challenge in this game is to make it run... it's certainly a different approach 😅 at least it's not a portability thing, it was awful even when I got it a million years ago...

Aldwych stumped with me far more than Lud's Gate. Once your past its underwater section its not even that bad. But Aldwych can be a nightmare from start to finish. It may not have as many enemies as most other levels, but it's basically a huge maze with confusing puzzles, and is full of death traps. I've since grown to love that level, but I still remember just how exhausted I was when I played through it for the first time.

The level design is way better than those cubed levels from the PS1 games. I hated that confusing shit.
