ORIGINAL PRE-CONSOLE VERSION!
The original version of Slippery Climb from the first Crash Bandicoot. This is what it supposed to sound like before it was edited to the game.

you know what's scary about this level? the fact that cortex experimented with humans, because the lab assistants are robots, and those hands are 100% non robotical

Slippery Climb, the bane of many PS1 gamers. It's certainly hard if you don't know what you're doing, and/or it's your first time play through it, but it is not the most difficult stage in gaming. The original Rayman was more difficult overall.

Most of you may already know but Activision guilty here, they asked A LOT of money to include Crash in thing like a drawing contest and won't let anyone make game games because they have the rights, even if they are not interested at all in making Crash games thinking that no one like Crash anymore... we dont like the ''CRASH'' games, because they arent Crash games anymore, they have the characters, they have the items, but they dont have the charm that maked Crash a success years ago.

What was really torture for the first Crash was not being able to see how many of the crates you smashed. Players had a hard time telling if they'd get the gem or not.

toilethead1011 yeah till right at the end of a level and often back then would go "Heh?! How could I missed that much I looked every where! Fluff!" Then do research all over again and internet was new back then thus not much resources hence had to buy mags to see where the coloured jewels were.

Makes me want to see a more grim, adult-oriented mini-series of some kind set in the Crash story. When you strip away all the cartoonishness, Cortex does some horrifying things.

This music feels more akin to a DooM game than Crash Bandicoot (mainly since it sounds very similar to “The Imps Song” or at least has the same vibes)

Honestly, in my opinion, I think the N. Sane Trilogy OST compared to the originals was a mixed bag. Some tracks were better, like the motorcycle levels from Crash 3 and Toxic Waste, while some were not as good as the originals, like Generator Room and this track, Slippery Climb.

I love the N. Sane version of Slippery Climb! I wish they kept the creepy atmospheric sounds in the background but it's still great.

Think this is better then the remix in the N Sane Trilogy? Just use the PS4's custom music option to play this over the level in N Sane Trilogy (you'll have to turn to music down in the options) Also, if your really lucky like I was, it will be actually storming outside while playing the level with this music

If this is very hard, try Stormy Ascent >:) (It's the removed level of Crash bandicoot 1, you can play it by using hacks.)
