Came to pay respects because Gold Rush no longer has the most crates in the Crash franchise. 😔

Regardless of how people feel about this game, there's no denying that the music was incredible.

I always like to walk before the song speeds up so it looks like Crash is just taking a nice stroll until he's forced to run because the music says so. :D

This level had the most boxes ever.

So my understanding is that this game was panned because it didn't "introduce anything new"...um, are they kidding? There were more vehicles than all the previous games combined, each and every stage was unique (whereas previous games just repeated the same stages with some palette swaps and layout differences) and the way the levels were designed in this game, they told stories. You weren't just running through a stage; you were on a safari, or defending an island village from being bombed, or outrunning a tsunami, battling a space armada, infiltrating a lunar station, the list goes on and on. This game was a masterpiece.

When you are doing timed run for the relic and rush through a level, then you hear 1:46 part and somehow it makes you even faster.

Love this game! Gold Rush is my favorite level. Who doesn't like the Wild West? :D This level had a LOT of boxes. Oh well, it was still fun playing in it! I also love the music.

Perhaps my favorite level in the whole game. Long, a great tune, and quite a sweet number of crates.

Man this level had a bazillion boxes in fact there weren't many levels with below 100 boxes

I actually loved doing the time attack on this level. After getting the run skill i love going through here for the music and for some reason i love desert themed levels. The cacti, tumbleweeds, western style doors and bars, gaah it's so awesome.

Man I just love this level, I really enjoyed this Western themed level and music! That's just my parquet.

Despite my problems with The Wrath of Cortex, I will always hold this as my preferred Crash 4.

That's a hella lot of boxes! I must say that I was more surprised at the first level having almost 150 boxes though.

Ironically, I first played this level around the same time a wild west themed episode of Spongebob Squarepants aired on Nickelodeon, in which I imagined myself chopping Dead Eye Plankton's head off with a frisbee.

At one time I thought this was one of the longest Level I've ever play. 😁

This level was great fun, but I will never get the time relic on this. This level is just way too long to beat without a checkpoint.
