Crystal, I had a similar experience with crickets and hate them with a passion too! When dating my husband ( been married 34 years) we were going fishing and the crickets cage dumped out and into the passenger side of the car floor board. The crickets went everywhere!! Including up my shorts and into the dashboard! If freaked out and made him pull over and I jumped out of the car. I would not get back in until all crickets were accounted for, that could be! I Hate those suckers, they stick to you with their legs! 🤢 Blue Gabe, thanks for letting the boys be boys! Letting them do boy things like have pocket knives and hunt. We appreciate your integrity, if ever in Central Indiana we have 100 acres and you’re always welcome.

When I was a little girl (I'm 74 now), my Grandpa had a Catawba tree in the back yard and we would pick worms and go down from the house to the Satilla River in Blackshear and fish with them. Boy Gabe, you are bringing back some good memories.

Crystal I have the same kind of kids story as you. I was maybe 8 or 9 as was sick as a dog with strep throat. We lived outside Kansas City and were sitting on our porch. My mom gave me a old bowl of chocolate ice cream - soothing to my throat - well in Kansas they have these huse moths - as my granddad used to say 'moths big enough to carry off small kids' - anyway I was enjoying my bowl of ice cream when one of those huge moths hit the porch light and dropped into my ice cream bowl. For years after , and I mean years, I would avoid chocolate ice cream.

You need to get those eels in the smoker, I used to work on a fish farm as a teenager and we used to catch eels as a byproduct, smoke them, and mix them with horseradish and creme fresh to make an amazing pate.

With ribs. You can also boil them until they are almost cooked. You can use seasoning in your boil or marinade after cooking. You can also just grill them normally and add BBQ sauce as usual.

Catfish has to be the best to catch and cook in Kentucky. I just did one on the Kentucky River. I remember as a kid going down to New Orleans with my dad, they were doing fresh crawfish boils during a concert it was a great time. Well all jets make that noise when they fire the gun. However the A-10 is EXTREMELY unique. But the sound of the gun wasn't in the video so no way to actually know if it was an A-10 or not.

I can tell you from personal experience on the ground, that there is not another gun overhead that sounds like a GAU-8. Hence the reason for the nickname. If all guns sounded that way, everyone would know it as the Thunderbolt.

But seeing as the GAU-8 or any gun at all for that matter wasn't what was heard in the video, I'm curious as to how you come to your conclusion? Lmao. The noise heard was engine exhaust. Not the gun going off. And seeing since I'm an ex-Avionics Electronics Technician 3rd Class Petty Officer with the US Navy that was stationed @NAS Lemoore in Lemoore, CA with VFA-151 working F/A-18C from 2005-2009 WHO ALSO did 2 deployments, 1 of which being a 7 month war cruise to the gulf, pretty sure I know the difference in jet blast and the nose gun going off. I'll bet on my time served, OJT AND time at war over your "personal experience" any day. 😁😁😁 BUT PLEASE, FEEL FREE to list you Qualification of expertise to the subject of discussion!! Don't let ME stop you!! 🤣🤣🤣

You physically have ZERO way of telling if a jet is an A-10 by someone going "BBBRRRRR!" With their mouth. Lmao. I'm not denying the very fact that IT COULD be an A-10. I'm just saying nobody could tell simply with what was heard in the video. I'm sorry if that hurt your widdle feewin, but it's just not possible. You just want to be right so now you're all butt hurt in typical Navy fashion, mentally and literally. Crawdads are good Limb Line baits as well, used to catch cats all the time in the Altamaha river, also we would take a stick and turn the cawtauba worms inside out before hooking them, it makes a big difference when fishing!

I have a freezer full of ribs because I buy them up when they go on sale . I cook 2 racks at a time , rubbed with Famous Dave's pork rub,and i use charcoal and wood to smoke them . 4 to 5 hours in the smoker at 275 degrees . You can tell when they are done by picking up the full rack in the middle with tongs and bounce them up and down . If they are rubbery they're done and if the rack breaks the meat will be falling of of the bone . The pros say that the meat shouldn't be falling of the bone but rather the meat should be easily nibbled from the bone. You need a proper smoker with a lid to keep that flavor in .

Just for future reference, if it has little feet on it, it's not an eel, it's a salamander. They aren't even in the same order. One is a fish and the other an amphibian. Some eels are quite tasty. Don't eat the salamander though. They serve them from street carts in southeast Asia if that tells you anything. Maybe with enough of your Old Bay but I'm damn sure not going first.
