AliExpress!! It might not be the best, but it can be awfully cheap! The Junkviews, where we pinch the pennies as hard as we dare!
This is the Junkview of the (and I still can't believe I'm saying it) Mix Racing "4pcs 1.9 Inch Rubber Tyre 116*45 for 1.10 RC Crawler Traxxas TRX4 Axial Scx10 Wraith Scx10 Yikong RGT Wrangler 1.9 Wheel" which are pretty much a direct copy of the JCconcepts Tusk.

With how the short course tires fared, I'd like to see them on their included foam. They might do surprisingly well.

I'm curious too after seeing the SCT tires. Then to pile on this, I wonder how a single stage hair bun would do? If we're taking the situation of someone with their first RTR trying to save the most money, would the fake tusk + hair bun work and be the cheapest combination? I suppose if they got an Element with the plastic beadlocks, they could rob the stock foams from the Grabbers but Axial uses glue on most of the cheap rigs if I recall

I love it both when a junkview delivers real junk but also when we have a winner! Ordered 😁 Stock is melting away. You're a free commercial platform for a lot of stuff! It wasn't me, the ones with the yellow inserts, those I did sent.

From what I can tell these are damn close to a real tusks performance… these are by far the best junk view tire

hot wire on lathe, or even setup your laser possibly. or simple dowel through center, in wood with a hotwire slip in spin, done made a inner foam. The foams match tire well, just keep them together. great review

Wohooo, I'm so glad to see these arrived in time! As I sometimes also lack patience, I had to order a set for myself too before yours were delivered, and I'm so happy it's one of those rare instances where I can consider this decision a small win. 😁 A good Mix Racing tire.... who would've thought?

@@erwinadriaensen a few days after ordering the set for the canyon, I got one for me too, thinking if they are not good, at least they'll go on a scale trail truck in my fleet. After today's video I've just ordered the 2nd set, to have just in case the Mix Racing will somehow mess up the compound in the next batches😂. Now I still have to patiently wait for the 1st set to arrive😅

🫡 there's that Amazon "convenience markup" as I call it (around 50%) but at $27 a set, still absolutely worth it. I have updated the links accordingly. I'd rather pay $27 for Fusks and have them tomorrow vs. $19 and have them in 4-6 weeks.

Hey cralwer canyon fam whats your favorite junk view tire that has been tested so far and have you purchased any of the junk view tires after canyon review ?

I think I would have to say the fake Approach. They were and are every bit as good as the real Approach-- and up to now, the only tire that I legitimately could not tell the difference between the fake and the clone. In some instances, the clone did a little better, even. As in purchased a second set? I have not. Tires running in multiples is rarified air here. Most times, junk tires are purchased purely for testing purposes or sent in for testing purposes, so they have no home from the go. A tire would have to be good to supplant a tire already in-service. We've yet to meet that tire.
