We're back on the coast! This time we hit some 4WD tracks in the Westport region in Lando, my V8 Land Rover Discovery 1, along with the usual crew featuring the Racelux, a Toyota Hilux with a supercharged V6, a 3 linked Suzuki Samurai and a Jeep TJ Wrangler. Enjoy!

Just as well you put some effort into upgrading the winch! Looked like some axle torture testing went on with most of the 4wds on that those tracks. Another great video looking forward to next installment.

Bit of a custom build , Superwinch Talon gearbox , 2up twin motor adaptor with 2:1 stepped up gearing through 2x Red Winch OX motors , soon to be geared up a little more .

Have you done anything to bolster the hinges etc or can a stock Disco door support all that weight, a 35" tyre and steel rim and your ground anchor?

Treps have a very hard sidewalk, generally about 25psi on road and 10psi off

Great footage but you guys need to rethink winching safety. No dampener on the rope and people in the danger zones. Let’s not have an injury or worst, a death on one of your sunny outings. Cheers 👍🏻🙏🦘

Good spotting Grahame , all winches are fitted with dyneema rope which has zero recoil of course but everyone does carry blankets and they get used when necessary , all the pulls in this video are relatively short and easy .

3” lift, Dobinsons springs, Kingpin Design & Fab suspension with Superior Engineering custom valved long travel shocks. Have a look at some of my older videos where it all got fitted!
