Exactly, they forgot to include the instant karma in a video titled instant karma… smh 99 yards and a fumble Highlight Reel I’m a lifelong MI fan who lives in SC. I was watching that game when it happened and I was pissed about that blown call by the refs. Yeah it helped my team but it was so obviously bad that it tarnishes a victory for MI. When Clowney smashed our RB, forcing that fumble, I was happy about it. The wrong was righted immediately and if Michigan wins it’s legit. What I failed to grasp was how big that hit would become!!! It’s featured in 1000’s of highlights. I’ve probably seen it over 100x LOL. I’ll be seeing it forever!! Which is exactly what that diabolically evil referee wanted!! He wasn’t a Michigan man, he was a Buckeye and he was executing his plan to create the ultimate Wolverines humiliation highlight. Touché Buckeyes ref, touché!

I agree some of the rules are way too stringent, though part of me does think the celebrations get stupid. The coaches should be the ones reining the nonsense in.

Taunting penalties are freaking subjective, opinionated, and stupid. Unless it's an Elijah Moore-level of stupid, refs need to keep the flags on their person. High-stepping into the endzone, waving at the defense, and gator-chomping your opponent and getting penalized is absurd.

While taunting may seem harmless, it can have a negative affect on both the player being taunted and the game itself. For a player who is taunted, it can lead to frustration, anger, or even revenge. Retaliation can lead to penalties, ejections, or even injury.

I appreciate the fact that HR felt they didn’t need to include the instant karma for the Michigan-SC game because everyone has already seen the highlight 10,000 times. Clowney is gifted one free hit on Michigan’s RB. He almost killed him, knocked his helmet off, forced the fumble, SC recovers- aka THE HIT. 99 yards and a fumble Highlight Reel I’m a lifelong MI fan who lives in SC. I remember one time B1G officials called an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on Nebraska’s Kenny Bell after scored a touchdown and took a bow in the endzone…it was a home game and he was bowing to Nebraska fans lol didn’t take the score off but put the kickoff back 15 yards.

I have two: Oregon at Utah (11/08/2014): Kaelin Clay, certain he has a touchdown, disposes of the ball at the one-yard line. The referee does not signal touchdown. An opposing player picks it up and runs it in for a touchdown for the other team. Tennessee at Georgia (10/01/2016): Jalen Hurd starts prancing into the endzone, but one Georgia player causes him to fumble, and another Georgia player recovers the ball in the endzone.

Disrespectful taunting isn’t the same as celebration… which some of these were. Don’t get me wrong… rules are set and you follow them, and teaching young men to actually be men and not thugs is one thing. Clamping down on celebration that isn’t disrespectful is another. Save the douchbagness for the NFL.

I personally don't understand the problem with a little dance here and there. Even if its right before you go into the end zone especially if it's after the TD! Like there's in my opinion nothing wrong with a little bit of showboating every now and then, it makes the game fun.
