On this episode of Dragon Tails, Coyote takes a major bite from a huge Alligator Snapping Turtle!
Yes, this is absolutely a crazy thing to do and we can’t stress enough that this should NOT be attempted by anyone, EVER. Being bitten by a turtle of this size, or any turtle for that matter, is extremely dangerous.
The only reason Coyote decided to go through with this challenge was due to popular demand and to hopefully reach a wider audience therefore promoting a greater awareness and understanding of this incredible species in hopes that more people will join the conservation effort. To Coyote, taking one chomp is totally worth it if it helps save more turtles.

Damn, he would’ve destroyed your arm without that brace. Was definitely smart to test his bite first. But the fact that you still went through with it shows your dedication to your viewers. My brother and I caught an alligator snapping turtle 56 years ago close to our Louisiana subdivision. Brought it home. Found a big old broomstick. That old turtle snapped the broomstick like a matchstick. We took him back to the bayou and set him free. That old turtle was a BEAST.
