CRAZY Aquascaped Aquariums! Sumida Aquarium Tour in Tokyo Japan

This is one of the most amazing Aquarium I've been to. Sumida Aquarium in Tokyo Japan has some of the most crazy Aquascaped Aquariums! These, freshwater planted aquariums were aquascaped by Takashi Amano and I was blown away when I walked in.
The first large planted aquarium you see when you enter Sumida Aquarium is insane and it is my favorite. I love all the aquatic plants, the driftwood and the fish selection that Takashi Amano and the ADA team selected. The rainbow fish in some of these tanks were stunning. The dwarf neon rainbow fish and the bosemani rainbow fish were my favorites.
After the incredible aquascaped section of Sumida Aquarium, there is a saltwater section, that showcase small fish like the clownfish, to large fish like the humphead wrasse. There was also a crazy aquarium with lots of garden eels! There was a japanese rice fish biotope tank which I liked and a cool goldfish section as well.

3:55 that is a BEAUTIFUL!!! Specimen of a "Madagascar rainbow" ...... Wow I watched this twice and am just stunned at the beauty and calm of this Aquarium I hope to visit here one day absolutely unbelievable how beautiful and notice all of the fish are just as stunning and high quality as the plants and aquascapes , they definitely know what their doing here!!

@@RyoWatanabee yeah really cool fish , check them out! Madagascar rainbowfish....they usually are sold as juveniles and don't look like much but as a adults they are unbelievably beautiful!!

Been in this business for over 30 years & these are some of the very best large planted display tanks I have ever seen, thanks. Got to be the carpeted Cardinal tank for me - outstanding. Significant man hours needed to keep this lot looking so fine I expect.

I realized that I went to sumida aquarium back in October 2015. And 5 years later, the tank still look immaculately maintained. It is really awesome. Some day I hope to be back!

The transition from underwater plantings to above water plantings was superb in those two side tanks (no 1 and no 2)

I went to Sumida Aquarium in August to see these amazing aquascapes. Really worth checking out, it was super crowded the day I went, but they also had a goldfish exhibit that was really cool to see. Great video

Too many beautiful fish and tanks to choose from, Ryo! But I think the long tank with the 3 islands and all of those beautiful Cardinal Tetras is my favorite. I could pull up a chair and watch them all day! The interactive floor space is every childs dream, but I would like to walk on it just like you, too! How clever they have this. My favorite also. Cardinal Tetras and German Blue Rams are my favorite fish, so naturally, I am entranced with these 3 islands and the fish. I thought they would school around the tank as 1 large group, rushing from one end to the other end- what a beautiful surprise to see them in protective groups over each island! Amazing!!❤
