I didn't think anything could sound better than the original of one of my all time favorite songs, until Home Free put their magical touch to it. omg! It's so beautiful it gave me the electric shivers. It's like an electrical current throughout my body that gives me the shivers. Those beautiful bell tones were a sublime touch. Gorgeous. This went right to the top of my playlist. I'm not sure there is a sound Adam can't replicate. He's a beat box beast. Great vocal leads by Austin & Rob. Tim's bass really stands out for me in this one. And Adam's tasteful vocal percussion is on point.

While I really enjoyed the song on its own (as always with Home Free!!), I found so much more to appreciate after hearing it through your ears, all the beautiful pieces that make up the whole. Loved your reaction! Home Free is releasing a 10th anniversary of the songs they sang on the Sing Off. They re-recorded them all and have a video for each one. This one, so far, is my favorite. Second favorite is “Cruise”, third is “Pretty Woman”, fourth is “Life is a Highway”. They’re all really, really good though! This is a really fantastic cover. This one was performed on the 5th season when they returned as guests. They started out singing, then were joined by the judges one at a time, along with Nick Lechay. This is a similar arrangement, but with some Home Free flavor put in. Love this cover!

One of the songs I have been listening to for as long as I can remember. (I'm born 1963) First the LP, later I always had it on one of my cassette tapes, then I got the CD and in recent years I usually have it on one of my playlists. Although many versions had been released in the meantime, it was usually the version by Ben E. King or Otis Redding. But from now on it is the version of Home Free that is on my playlist and no other. Alternating the lead between Austin's powerful voice and Rob's silky soulful voice just sounds so beautiful and fantastic. Then the unparalleled vocal percussion, truly phenomenal. The great bass, beautiful harmony and incredible backgrounds vocals are the finishing touch.

Definitely do Cruise. And sorry, Home Free always brings it better than any other group. They should have a day just for them. Austin has his adorable accent that's why it sounded like that.

This is from the new album As Seen On TV. Which is their 10 anniversary of being on The Sing Off. So it's all the songs from that time. It comes out November 17th. They have also done Oh,Pretty Woman and Cruise so far. To my knowledge they didn't have a new video out last week. I always enjoy watching your reaction and analysis to their music.

The harmonies in this are so amazing and the smoothness with which Rob and Austin switch the lead back and forth always makes my chin drop to the floor, sometimes so quickly that my brain cannot catch up!😲 And those harmonies at different points in the song and the way they end, so beautifully! This is definitely a masterpiece, a wonderful upgrade from what they performed on the sing-off 10 years go which was great too!
