Looking for a new golf driver? Look no further than the all-new Titleist TRS drivers! With three different models to choose from, there's sure to be a TRS driver that fits your game. Watch this video to learn more about these amazing clubs and see them in action on the driving range. You won't believe how far they can take your ball!
Mark Crossfield is in Oceanside California at TPI hitting the new TSR 2, TSR 3 and TSR 4 drivers. TSR 1 might follow early next year, but the ball speed on the new drivers from TITLEIST is pretty impressive.

Thanks Tilteist !!!!! I still play my 913 D3 , Just wish they werent so damn expensive , as my 913 D3 cost me $599. fitted !!! For that kind of money you have to play that sucker for over 10 years before the wife will let you spend the BIG BUCKS again on ONE club!!!

This kind of content is the best version of you @markcrossfield !! I have lost interest in your channel in recent years and the content got more random or hokey. This is what makes you great and the OG YT golfer - you understand the science, physics and the tech of the golf world better than any other YT and you aren’t as appealing to a big audience on the course blog/personality stuff. This was your best video in a long time … more please and I’ll be back more often! Your Titleist partnership was awesome too! Miss it! Hope you don’t mind the transparent feedback!

I had a PXG gen5 driver and just loved it for what ever reason I started review the TSR drivers. In the past Titleist drivers never worked for me. So I had to give it a test and I fell in love with the TSR3 for me. I have put a Kai'Li white shaft in it and it works great for me... Love the review

I love your content Mark! None of this instant yardage gain crap and great information! It seems every year I see reviews of people always claiming 5-20 yards gained by the "new" product. Shoot that means if I am averaging 280 with my old ping g2, I should be averaging 380 with the new stuff at minimum lol. Looking forward to your future videos!

I agree with you Average driving distance on tour in 1980: 256.9 yards Average driving distance on tour in 2018: 295.3 yards So thats a 38.4 yard difference in 39 years with huge changes in clubs, balls, and fitness... Any manufacturer/salesman that claims "X" club is going to give you a 5-20 yard advantage is blowing smoke up you're ass. The only way to see that kind of improvement is by going from a poorly fit club, to a very well fit club. Thats where the real difference lies.

Great video to watch as I push myself to get fit (first time) for a new driver (gaming fifteen yr old Callaway Diablo Octane) But I also remember a recent video of you giving a lesson to a guy who just got fit for driver and you tweaked his fade to a draw and showed him more ydg with a lesson v driver fitting. It's relative to player and current swing. Bonus-laughed at "stiff old man walk" at 19:25!

The lesson and coach showed me some different views to better understand current swing ideas. I’ve had a lesson with shallowing the club and it definitely is a change for the better with ball striking. The coaches way of showing a proper swing technique was the best. I can relate to the swing he demonstrated which seems less stressful and is powerful. I’ve now got some work to do to incorporate changes to improve ball striking.

Loved last years Tsi2 although in my hands the TM Stealth just beat it for consistency, no difference in performance. With the TSr looks are just what I like to see, simple nothing to draw the eye and very traditional. If I needed a new driver 2 would be my choice. Looking at Mark's numbers, after all the work Mark has done to improve his swing speed, the carry distance 264!! so he has gained 2 yards after all that work?

What type of spin should we get with a driver and what is a good drill to lower your spin with a driver for spinny players? Love the podcast btw, Lou and Gregg are awesome.
@brettfrimmer6567
@brettfrimmer6567 Жыл бұрын
2100-2700 spin is a good place to be. If you hit down on the ball, the driver can only do so much to lower spin. You need to hit up on the ball. An easy thing to do to kind of get that upward strike is to have your lead foot closed more which forces you to hit the ball from the inside more, get your trail shoulder lower than your lead and start taking swings like this. Focus on swinging hard and through the ball.

Thanks Mark. What specific shaft/flex were you hitting - looked like a Hzrdus CB? You mentioned it was in the 50g class. Seems you would be in an X flex with your speed - but I don’t see a 6.5 offered in that shaft. Do you specifically feel you loose speed when you’re in a 60g class shaft w driver? Thanks again - Marc

(I truly miss that 3 wood 😢) bc I decided to go tsi2 and get a 13.5 (I cannot hit it high enough off the deck) but when I hit my newer driver (tsi2 good) it’s long and straight I’ll be interested (if any “faster speeds) I get anything I doubt much if any. But the 3 wood I can see either going back to a tsi3 15 degree or tsr 2/3 15 degree would fit me better.
