it's just a pity that so few people have a home theater and few people appreciate how perfectly the surround sound is made and what general details there are in cyberpunk. just as few people will appreciate this beautiful HDR because most people do not realize that HDR only makes sense on OLED.

RDR 2 - absolutely stunning, masterpiece.

Well if we look at texture quality Cyberpunk has the upper hand you can see the skin is more realistic in cyberpunk but it lacks of facedetails so in term of art and reality rdr2 has the upper hand

This is a good demonstration of two things: how both games focus on two polar opposite environments and how some things aren’t as immediately noticeable as others through common gameplay. RDR2 has better effects when grenades explode in water because there’s actual reason to do so, mainly fishing. Cyberpunk gives you literally no reason to throw a grenade in the water, but does have a small effect in case one does make it in there. RDR2 has better looking fire and spreading because of its natural environment and the insane focus on getting natural detail right. If nothing else, it’s amazing you CAN fairly compare Cyberpunk and RDR2, especially since CDPR had never done either a first person or urban setting before, and did both at the same time for the first time. Rockstar, of course, has been dealing with cities, trees, and guns for decades, at this point, so they’re going to have a bit of a leg up, but the fact that CDPR can stand so close, and even surpass in some areas, despite having next to no experience in urban environments, is fantastic.

RDR2 is unbeatable

I think the biggest difference between the games is the NPCs. Every NPC in RDR2 feels alive, whereas the NPCs in CP2077 feel stiff and robotic. For me, that alone makes CP2077 feel more like a game.

Cyberpunk actually looks so much better now, with all the details, bug fixes and more. Shame that the launch was a piece of Hell and CD Projekt Red can never recover from that.

I think that water and lighting are better in cyberpunk honestly, which is not surprising considering the technology being used. However, the attention to details, Cyberpunk cannot touch RDR2

RDR2 will have the edge when it comes to physics and details because as a sandbox game, that's its main selling point. Cyberpunk 2077, even though it has sandbox features, is first and foremost an RPG, so its resources would mostly be put on story, character builds, branching choices, etc. With that said, at its current state now, its physics are really good. On the eye detail portion, it's easier to see the detail on Arthur's eyes because it's blue/green while Judy's eyes are dark brown. However, on your V, you can select brighter eye colors, and you'll be able to see that the eyes in Cyberpunk are also very detailed.

Comparing the face details of an old man and a young girl doesn't seem quite apples-to-apples. One rain detail I noticed in CP77 was that when driving through rain, you can see the rain hit the window and stick or run down very realistically. But realism of game mechanics isn't the most important part of either game, IMO.

this was still a slanderfest against cyberpunk, destruction 100000% goes to cyberpunk, you can make 100% accurate slashes with blades on couches, metal walls, wood walls, anything same goes for bullets

Red dead is playable as a ps4 game meaning if it were rendered to ps5 it might look even better either way I love this game even if it doesn’t have a ps5 version you can still play on it

Aesthetically - Cyberpunk 2077 Physics and level of detail - Rdr2

I think objects are the best in "Control". When every chair, table and desk can be pushed and lifted, that just gives a different level of realism. But of course in terms of graphical quality RDR2 remains unbeaten. I think the next Naughty Dog game needs to come out to beat that.

You should do a shadow comparison with rtx 😂 biggest detail breaker, that and the goofy civilian interactions or wait when they randomly disappear in a 5 meter distance or when cars spawn in each other

both of their skin is very detailed all the way down to seeing V's goosebumps. However Arthur is older son naturally has a more detailed face.

The eyelashes and eyebrows are really good in cyberpunk, idk how they managed to get rid of all the aliasing while most other games struggle with it:/

Cyberpunk 2077 looks more impressive in terms of graphics in some places, as it has a world full of futuristic and geometric shapes and materials with more vibrant lights, but RDR 2 is definitely more realistic and has higher physics fidelity.

I like Cyberpunk now, but it's gonna be a long time before games catches up with Red Dead 2

Only game where I was shocked at how good the graphics where similarly to rdr2 was last of us 2, and it’s crazy to think that RDR2 is an open world game and looked this good. Last of us 2 looks absolutely insane aswell.

Cyberpunk is very impressive in consideration to its use of the REDEngine, which isn't physics heavy. RDR 2 is pretty unimpressive when considering its use of the RAGE engine, which is very physics heavy. Though the fire physics is probably the best ever implemented, alongside horses. But everything else still falters in so many ways when you compare them to RDR 1. That's why these comparisons are interesting but also quite misleading to the casual viewer, since we can make GTA IV look like a better game by picking and choosing aspects or make it look like shit by focusing solely on graphics. What matters most is art direction and execution where both games have set a gold standard.

I find the gameplay much more fun, has more depth, challenge and freedom in Cyberpunk. The game world, lore and aesthetic just grab me in a way I haven't felt about a game since like GTA IV, maybe Witcher 3. Night City is by far the best city in a video game. The characters, voice acting and dialogue are every bit as good as RDR2, and I find the story a lot fresher, interesting and more inspired. It's such a shame CDPR stupidly released it in such a sorry state because Cyberpunk is a truly great game.

In cyberpunk, the raindrops crashing into the water source @5:18 is upto 10-20 meters only, after which the crashing of raindrops effect is null at far distance... maybe draw distance limitation or engine physice issue, but effect 🤩 is far better than RDR2, Overall I'm R* fan...❤

Damn, I really thought that Cyberpunk would have better looking eyes with the whole game being in 1st person.

RDR2 is a masterpiece in terms of the tech used but it never captivated me the way Cyberpunk did. Even though it was a mess at first (they should have cooked it gor 2 more years), since 2022 the game is getting better and better. The characters and gameplay is more up my alley. I simply do not like the mid western style of RDR2 and the customisation CP2077 provides in terms of player build is just something else! Both are great games though.

RDR2 is a masterpiece at world creation from realistic point of view. You can forgot about campaing while exploring world. Cyberpunk 2007 is in other hand completely different - you can forgot about world because you are wired in because of storytelling.

honestly i prefer quite a lot more the cyberpunk physics, plus, there are not quite a lot of water interactions in cyberpunk so i can understand they improved other physics more, like the cars physic (still i think specifically that the cars physics are not quite good) but still i prefer the cyberpunk ones

R* are masters at physic simulation since they released the Euphoria engine in their Rage engine and has been more than 10 years since then. Cyberpunk holds really fine, of couse after all the updates. But I stick with Cyberpunk since CDPR are pro consumer and mods friendly. Have you seen a modded Cyberpunk running on PC?
