This is so true! They never let you go, even when you say you aren't interested. I was at the mall once and passed by a kiosk that was selling some hair straighteners (I have very curly hair, but I hate using heat on it) so when they offered to straighten my hair if I bought one I said no politely and kept walking. It was a long kiosk, so I took about three steps before the person walked up to me and was like "Are you sure? You hair would look soo nice straight" and she tried to grab my hair and I freaked out and ran.

I also hate charity collectors, if they wanted some coins or a few notes sure fine but they want me to sign up for a year long charity donation which I can't do. One time a women told me about a charity I told her I couldn't afford it but she kept on insisting and when I try to walk away she kept on blocking me and wouldn't let me leave.

What is it with the hair straightening people!? My hair is quite straight and I had gone to the trouble of curling it and then this guy pushes me into having it straightened. I was terrified to walk by that kiosk for months afterward and now avoid eye contact with mall kiosk people at all costs.

This is where the inverse salesman law comes into play. The richer the salesman, the less aggressive and lazier they become, counterbalancing their success back to zero.

In my psychology class, we learned that the (successful) mall kiosk people actually use psychology. For instance, at 2:02, when Jason offers Adam free lotion, he is actually using at least 2 ways taught in my class. The first is that when someone gives you something, you want to return the favor; it's like how if someone invites you to their party, then you feel obligated to invite them to your next party. The second is that once a small thing has been entrusted, a person is much more likely to allow a bigger thing. An example I know of this is when one of my friends, whom I will call Andy, was touching my other friend's (I'll call him Ross) unicycle. At first Ross told Andy not to even touch the unicycle, but after Andy continued to touch it and even went as far as to get onto it, Ross began coaching him on how to balance on it! So Jason used actual psychologically--proven techniques to get Adam to buy the hand lotion. I did hear somewhere that Matt has a background in psychology. Is that true?

Heck, Walmart isn't even safe anymore. I was once doing some grocery shopping for literally a few things, and they had this dude by the electronics department setting everybody up with a Dish plan. He saw me, and asked if I was interested in one. I was stone-faced, made no eye contact, and kept on walking. I said "No." He then said, "it would only just take a minute." I then said, "I don't have a minute. I need to be somewhere." Heart of stone, people. I'm sharing this comment in hopes somebody can learn and remember some of these lines.

Something similar happened to me. My mom and I were shopping and we walked put of a store and some women near us just handed us some panflet and gestured for us to read it, talking about some useless product we didnt need, my mom opened the panflet as started fake reading as she walked on, I followed and once we had gotten far enough away she just threw it into a recycling bin.

This is the perfect plot for a horror movie. I'm thinking people locked in a mall where a kiosk salesman was killed years ago and his ghost is haunting the dark, silent halls of the mall for years afterwards, and he's trying to sell them stuff all night long.

Another Leo kiosk sketch would be amazing. This was one of the best sketches ever because it rang so true to life even though it was so ridiculously over-dramatic. Most Studio C sketches will get a little chuckle out of me, this one had me in stitches.

This Kiosk mall is nothing compare to T-Mobile employee. There was a T-Mobile guy came to my store and asked me to provide name, DOB, and telephone numbers, SSN so he could check if I qualify for discount. I insisted him that I could not provide my personal informations, but he kept insisting me there was nothing wrong with that. Finally, I could only escape him when I went inside and lock middle door.

this reminds me of the time I was selling cookies at the mall in at a kiosk, my friend came up with the weirdest song ever. "Girl scout cookies, nice 'n sweet, utterly delicious and super cheap. 4 dollars a box, they are so yummy, they want to be, sitting in your tummy! This has got to be one of my favorite ones yet! So hilarious. This is exactly how I act around kiosk people- DON'T MAKE EYE CONTACT, AVERT THE EYES, LOOK TO THE WINGS!XD
