Leçon sur les guitares de Crazy Mama de JJ Cale , slide et rythmiques,
C'est un morceau simple , mais je prends le temps de vous montrer les différentes guitares jouées.
Le backing de la démo au début est joué par moi , ce backing est enregistré sur la loop , juste une guitare , une boite à rythme et un ampli ...
J'adore JJ Cale , toujours simple et efficace !

Good to see i'm not the only one not using a pick. I've stopped using a pick for sometime now and I'm getting to like it.. Crazy mama It's all in the rhythm and you did such a great job with all those up strokes. That slider is sounding pretty mean as.

You're right , all in the rythm , and JJ was great ! Trying to keep his music alive , not too much tutos except the 2 same songs.... picks , sometime with , sometime without ....like to feel the strings , and different technics. Happy week end . : )

Yes I like this guitar , plus the other ones have fret problemes and other things to get fixed up .For the voice , I was out of tune in this lesson (think I was just concentrated on the guitar and timing ), so I'm very surprised you liked my singing in this one , I even wrote in the description : sorry for the singing (in french), You are a great singer . Very cool lesson my friend. Watching your slide work, I like how you make it seem light and effortless. I do pitches ok, but always go too hard with it.

Thanks Kyle , I had not played slide for a long time before this lesson , I usually use it on open tuning though.... My purpose in this lesson is to show how to play the main Riff with one guitar , then the right way : with 2 simple rythm guitars playing together.... Then I thought : let's show the slide too . Waiting on Punky Stuff ; )

@@shakeyourguitartutorials I was thinking, I started using a piece of metal pipe, my dad had a metal shop at our house for his business, and I'd tap it on the strings instead of a pick a lot. When going to use it for notes, it must be that hammer like motion, I just go too hard. lol I wear down my frets too.

@@KyleWalz I think sliding dammages my frets too! Hey , when I was younger I loved to use a drum stick at the right hand and play with the rebound , wasn't good for the guitar neither ,lol...

Hey Christophe, awesome video and great playing! I also have a slide but I don't play very much with it. I used to try to play Metallica's version of Turn The Page with the slide

@@shakeyourguitartutorials Of course! Kirk uses his wah pedal with the slide all over the whole song. In fact, I love that tone on Turn the Page, very amazing. Compressed distortion, echo and whah sound amazing!
