Okay, so, this is actually very good!!! The problem with covers is that people don't perceive themselves accurately and think they are doing the song exactly like the original artist. You don't have that problem. First of all, it is a great cover, but more importantly, you made it your own and your own talent manifests itself independent of your inspiration. GLORIOUS!!!

@exdigita Thanks so much! I love the B-1. It was my first microphone (my dad bought it for me when I was 14ish) and I still use it now, about 8-9 years later! It's nice and sturdy.

@smokinalder wowzers thanks hehe :) As far as the microphone goes.... My dad bought me this microphone when I started getting interested in recording back in 2003. So I've now had it for 8 years... I have beaten it, dropped it, and done terrible things (not on purpose of course) to this poor microphone, and yet it still works day after day. I love the sound quality and I don't think you can get much better for a microphone under $100!

Nicely done. Excellent vocal control on the chorus. Not an easy song to sing by any means. I used to cover this in a band, and we had a GREAT singer but she struggled with the intonations on the chorus.

I recorded it with the zoom H4n. My mic plugs right in, and the recorder powers it. It's an awesome portable little recorder. Has 2 XLR/1/4 inch inputs, and also two onboard mics that sound awesome themselves!
