(there are to many very scientific studies done on "bad" words, proving that they grab peoples attention whether or not they are used wisely) Because of the context he uses the word "fucking" it makes it so that depending on how he is feeling when performing he can change things to grab peoples attention if the music hasn't done that it's self. Whether he did this on purpose doesn't matter because it's still brilliant. The word ignorant when applied to the idea of "bad" words is made to make people feel stupid but it's hypocritical. There is no proof that "bad" words make you stupid. There is a lot of evidence that shows that under educated people tend to over use "bad" words more but it is because their limited vocabulary makes it difficult to express ideas. But to much of anything is a bad thing and it's not just the crass words that this problem is causing to be over used. I would say that the word ignorant is one of the most over used and least understood words that is used to hurt people. Getting back to my main point here, it's all about context. Words change depending on how they are used. You can say "ignorance is bliss" meaning something like "I wish I was younger so I didn't have as much to worry about" or you can say "ignorant and flat out stupid" meaning "I don't like their idea so i will use hurtful words, not realizing that I am abusing language in the exact way they are, simply because society taught me this cliché is a better in my biased, ignorant opinion" Tim Minchin explains this idea in one of his comedy acts. The idea going something like this. Fucking special and very special mean the same thing because its not the word that creates the idea, it's the way its used. I can say "finger" and the idea you think of is the things on your hand. If I say "I want to finger your mom" the idea is a little different. The word didn't change. The context of the word is what is different. Don't hate, educate!
