Mulan is my favourite Disney bad bitch and her movie was so underwhelming i promised myself to never watch another Disney live re-make, 2 weeks ago when i watched TLM with Halle that movie actually brought me to tears with how well they kept the consistency with all the music and vocals and i lived to hear all my favourite songs that helped shape me as child growing up. GO WATCH you won't regret it, but also watch the original so you can know all the songs before hand and sing along

My thing is you don’t know what goes one in these kids head. Some people are just plain crazy. If she wasn’t willing to give up her phone he should have called administrators to come take her out of class instead of him putting his hands on her to get the phone. People need to realize that not everybody is mentally sane. NOT SAYING SHE IS RIGHT BUT there was a better way of handling it on the teachers part too.

that’s true but a lot of kids start thinking abt the same things young and reassurance or resources can help them. of course kids should be prioritized to only worry abt kid things but.. kids who are gay for example might start feeling less strange and unsure of themselves and their identities if the resources are out there

I think it’s a double standard as a kid you are shown straight heterosexual relationships in media and everyday life I grew up around gay and trans people and as a kid I didn’t care I do think that these shows are doing it for the wrong reasons but lgbtq people aren’t something out of the ordinary.

I think the clip with the teacher is him trying to grab the pepper spray bc he said she already sprayed it before not him snatching the phone. and honestly I’m always on the teachers side when I see these kind of clips bc they’re always over a phone that should’ve been put away and it’s always the student becoming the aggressor. That vid of the female teacher beating up the girl who tried to force herself behind her desk was very satisfying to watch 🤷🏾‍♀️

@@Sjfyy_ alot of the people i see defending the student are real young and mostly likely not even done with school so they probably relate more but I’m in my mid twenties and I remember how horrible high school kids would treat teachers in order to appear tough in front of their friends. It’s one of the reasons I stopped wanting to be a teacher bc I knew i would be one of these teachers going viral 😭

You can’t even see a phone in her hand. but I do agree if there was initial aggression when he first asked for the phone he should’ve called someone to the class to help

only thing i disagree with was that netflix show. i think kids should be allowed to be kids but if the entire discussion were to be dismissed just bc it’s confusing for most then the young kids who may feel validated by the same show would go without. implementing lgbtq+ discussions into random shows without reason is strange and can throw ppl off (why i think lgbtq kids shows should be created to focus on that specifically) but for the kids who might feel validated or more comfortable in their identities i don’t see any harm. maybe pronoun usage and trans identities are hard for adults BECAUSE it’s not being introduced until maturity. what i mean to say is trans or non binary children would have resources to feel validated and made sure of themselves and those who aren’t would similarly have those resources to learn and maybe be more open minded to those identities that were once so drastically bizarre and different from themselves.

The point is that kids are very influential and really don’t know what they want, when I was young I wanted to be an angel then I wanted to be a fucking MY LITTLE PONY bc that was my favorite show, telling that to kids will either 1, make them believe that they’re something that they’re not, 2 confuse them, or 3, they literally just won’t get it and will ignore it all together, I personally believe In just letting them find out on their own and then answering questions open minded-ly when needed
