Very controversial opinion from me, but do trans men get the same spotlight as trans women? Are trans men “encroaching” on “male spaces” as much as trans women “encroach” on “female spaces”? I don’t think so. And I think the reason trans women in particular are so vocal and so forceful may have to do with them being biologically male… open to criticism and dialogue cause I might just be full of it 😅

I can see this but it's a matter of perspective. most trans women just live life, but unfortunately a few people get to represent the entire group and the media rewards those people because they fit the agenda 😂. It has nothing to do with biology because trans men actually do cause quite a few controversies but again it's what the media chooses to cover on a mainstream platform😅

@@BillieB. yea I can see the mainstream news pivoting more to trans women stories vs trans men, the only ones I saw with much buzz was Elliot Page and the man who can get pregnant. Definitely agree with the fact that trans women just live life and just want to be accepted, and these select few who are “encroaching” don’t represent the majority, which is common across the board. But I’m not really talking about biology, more about social constructs. When you grow up male in this society, there are social characteristics that you develop because it’s encouraged, like dominating the room for example. And I don’t think those characteristics, just because you transitioned, leave you… while maybe their relationship with men have changed, I don’t think their relationship w cis women (in commanding space, attention, leadership what not what have you) changed at all.

Honestly sza is the perfect example of getting plastic surgery but keeping it as natural looking as possible..cuz for the longest time I was in denial about her surgery but it's clear she got work done and that's OK she looks GREAT

Idk about other cultures but I'm Haitian and we 'wash' our raw meats with lime, salt, vinegar, and hot water to remove that raw chicken/ meat taste and smell. And then we marinate with seasoning overnight, it just tastes so much better

Us Puerto Ricans we use Vinegar in water to wash our meat Not ground though. It does kill bacteria.

Same for Jamaicans too, chicken that hasn’t been cleaned by vinegar has an extra raw taste to it to me so i clean it, if others dont want to, i think they should be free to flip their chicken from the package straight into the frying pan like that woman did on that show, live and let live.

i don’t think ppl understand that celebrities are human and they didn’t necessarily choose that life they chose to do what they love and benefit from the fruits of their labor. the negativity and toxicity that comes from fans and paparazzi is very unnecessary. ppl looking into your life more than you do, getting “cancelled” for having a different opinion than the majority. it’s very disgusting. i don’t put that on the celebrity at all.

You wash chicken to get the gooey packaging stuff off the chicken, not to actually clean it or sanitize it. It’s been sitting all in that goo i don’t want that taste on my chicken when I cook it so it doesn’t seep in 😅 but I do think we need a better way/process to wash it off

When I was in his original comment section to this video, Tryoce actually gave me a heart and agreed with me when I went into depth on different types of pageants that are held to show diversity of different groups of people but when it comes to just straight-up classic woman-to-woman pageants, this is a conversation that's just not for everyone to put an input on because a lot of y'all really don't care about pageantry and never been it in your entire life versus someone like me and my pageant sisters who been in it and actually won a few titles, we have a different take on this one🤷‍♀️👑

@@sharmaineyoung4985 ok well i’m glad that you know a lot about pageantry i truly hope that makes you feel happy but that’s not what this is about for me. it’s the blatant exclusion of trans people and yet another excuse to sht on the community. like troyce said, most people do not be watching that sht. so i understand where you personally are coming from but a lot of people don’t have the knowledge you have about pageants - they literally just don’t want trans people to be included in anything 😭 and i’m guessing you don’t know a whole lot about that so yeah you’re absolutely right, not everyone gets an input in these conversations.

I’m gonna still wash my chicken with water and vinegar. That shit be dirty and sometimes some of it need to be cut off or plucked. Not a single person in my immediate family have gotten sick since childhood. Just clean the area thoroughly afterwards.
