Watching Harlan hold Addison as she cried broke my heart. He’s such a good brother!

I don't usually get emotional but this one got me. I've enjoyed seeing Harlan grow into a handsome young man. Keep at your goals Harlan. Shelley and Jared you are an inspiration to what can be done with love and work.

I’ve always felt like Harlan, Addison, and Aubrey had a very strong bond as a sibling unit. He’s such a good big brother and I hope they are able to stay connected. Best of luck, Harlan!

Aubrey staying back and watching the little kids- she reminds me so much of Lacey. So responsible. I feel like when I was her age, I would have gone even with the stomach ache 😂

The thing I noticed throughout the whole video is whenever someone felt upset you could see them taking a deep breath, you two as parents have taught them all so well ! This isn’t goodbye this is see you later and seeing how all the kids are able to get through it together is so heartwarming ❤️

This one has me balling 😭 I think the first Crazy Middles video I ever watched was called “Whose at the door 4 more” when Harlan moved in. In that video you guys asked him and his bio siblings what they wanted in a family and I have been so moved by the love, happiness, and precious memories that you all have created! Congrats Harlan, you will be so missed.

I think Addison's crying hit me the most because Jarod and Shelly fought so hard for the 3 of them to get to grow up together and now they have but Harlan's adulthood has come and with that now comes growing as people physically separated.

I watch both Crazy Middles and Crazy Pieces, I've watched as these amazing kiddos grow and move out. I've followed many of them on their new life journeys. I've been happy and a little sad to see them go, but for some reason this one... Harlan moving out broke my heart. Please don't get me wrong, I'm so happy that he found his biological father and that he has found a career choice. I know that he will do amazing, but I just cried and cried while watching this. My heart hurts for Shelly, Jared and the other siblings. Truthfully Addison crying for her brother really got me. I wish you nothing but happiness and I know you will do great. Seeing all the kids from Crazy Pieces and you guys growing up and moving out lately had been so hard! I think this is the saddest moving out video though. Cynthia, Alex, Halie and Jaime, they all moved so close to home. I think for me it’s so bittersweet, because he does have such a GREAT opportunity and it’s so sweet he was able to connect with his biological dad and bond with him in this way. You guys will always be his family and you raised him right as you do all your kids. He knows if he ever wants to mov back, you’d welcome him with open arms ♥️

I held it together until the end when Shelly started crying when she and Harlan hugged. What I would have done to get Shelly and Jared or even Aaron and Crystal from Crazy Pieces as parents. You must be so proud of having Spencer, Cynthia, Destiny, Kaeli, Cody and now Harlan grow up and move out. Oh and Lacy and Jonathan. Same thing with Aaron and Crystal seeing Alex, James and now Hallie and Jamie move out on their own. You four are some of the most wonderful parents I've seen and it shows in the way your children grow up and eventually move out. It's nice we get to see Spencer, Cynthia, Cody, Lacy and Jonathan even though they moved out. It's going to be weird not seeing Harlan in the videos. Hopefully soon you can get back together and catch up. I want to know how this new job goes for Harlan. Love you all!

All your kids are truly so great. But there was something about that particular sibling group that just immediately got me when I started watching your videos. What an utter privelege to get to see those three grow into the people they have become. Many Christian adoptive families seem to only talk about God's healing but you understand the importance of therapy. You truly make sure to have the kids covered on all sides. You show them so much love and I respect you for it. I have always dreamed of adopting but here in Sweden they hardly ever allow national adoption. Instead, foster kids often spend their entire childhood in the system. The rights of biological parents are too strong within the legal system. There have been protests lately though, as this has immense consequences for the kids and laws may (hopefully) be changing to strengthen the rights of the children.
