I love that Alex shows how appreciative and great full he is for everything. Typically a male wouldn’t be as emotionally open but he is and I think that’s absolutely sweet of him!

This is what happens to kids who have something demanded from them (by circumstances or otherwise) instead of being given everything for free. Where most kids are furious over nothing, out on the street protesting and screaming about what they're owed, he's out inspiring people just by being who he is.

I love how supportive Hannah is of all of her siblings! Between helping makeover her siblings' rooms, to the way she was sitting next to Alex so interested to see his DNA results! She seems like such a sweet caring sister who is genuinely happy for her siblings!

@@jimmyperez4868 It does actually, it says Native American and right underneath it says Mexico. This simply indicates that his Native American ancestors were likely from tribes living in Mexico.

They became siblings when they were adopted into another family along Hannah`s bio sister and they weren`t treated well. I believe, not sure about this that they were then put into a group home and that`s where Aaron and Crystal saw them first.

I love your videos, I been watching them for a long time. I never comment on anything, but this video is very beautiful. I'm very happy for Alex, he is very lucky to have found you guys but I hope after seeing this video someone in his biological family will reach out to you all. I couldn't imagine not knowing someone who I share actual DNA with, although DNA doesn't make a family love does. Everyone should know their family. I'm considering adopting when I'm in my own home, but from your channel I see that it can be very emotional and a little overwhelming. Alex is so sweet and deserving of knowing where he came from. Another commentator said we should do Ancestry in addition to the 23 and me and we are really considering this because Alex is such a good kid and our hope with these tests was to give him some insight on where he comes from. Thanks for watching!

You might think I’m lying but some videos ago when you said Alex was going to get his DNA tested, I had an inclination to say he had Spanish and Portuguese heritage. I’m portuguese, and I said that cause Alex looks a lot like my older brother Tiago and my other cousins :) like really alike, the gestures and all. I came into foster care at the age of 11 in 2007 and got adopted in 2009 as a 13 year old. I'm now 23 almost 24. Your videos really touch me. 💞

@@MissyDcherrydaisypie25 We all have this by now. These tests are not definitive enough to give the answers we need until everyone takes it. DNA testing for disease is the same way. Let's hope Alex gets his answers sooner than later. I had a few surprises on mine, but only because other people had done the test, too.

I have been watching the Crazy middles for almost a year now!! And I had ways known you where they're family, but never really got around to watching your family as well, but just yesterday I started watching your videos!❤ And I absolutely LOVE the relationship that is shared between all of the kids, as well as crazy middles!! I'm so....happy is not the word. I'm overjoyed Alex has found some of his missing pieces. I cried with Alex. My friend was adopted from a group home when she was 3. She had been there since she was several months old. Anyway she did the 23 and me and found out her missing pieces and was like Alex and not what she thought. Anyway long story but she just found a brother. So Alex there's hope and if not you have the most Amazing family ever. So this is long but I was just so emotional. Love you guys hugs Alex

HIs highest single factor was Mexican, which ties in Southern European and Iberian (Spanish/Portuguese) heritage at lesser percentages. I'm so happy for you Alex that it gives you a sense of who you are and where you have come from.

Actually it was European. He was 54% European. His Mexican results where in a specific category. His second greatest was Native American.

@@GuerinGrad09 That 54% is made up of several smaller European markers at 13%, 11%, 11% 9% etc. The Mexican is the highest single percentage marker at 31.6%. In these tests the single highest specific marker is the strongest, the lesser markers show previous generations which given Mexico's Spanish history, it's no surprise that Iberian 11.5% and Southern European (Mediterranean) 13.1%

Al I think most of it links back to Mexico, even the African. About the same amount of slaves went to Mexico that went to the United States. They mixed into the population very earlier. The mother of Mexico’s 2nd President was an African slave woman. He abolished slavery in the early 1800s in Mexico. La Bamba was an African slave song. There were also immigrants from other European countries who ended up in Mexico, not only Spain and Portugal. Finally, North Africans controlled Spain for nearly 800 years, so the North African is also linked to Spain.

This is awesome. I did 23andme and later on ancestry as I'm adopted. I thought I'd have to slowly work my way through distant cousins to find a potential link. 23andme was vital for health information and ancestry happened to be the family link for me. At first I had distant relatives but after a while my biological 1st cousin popped up. Once I found him, I found out who my bio dad was. We are blessed with the technology we have today to allow us to find our bio family and missing pieces. I love my family (non bio) but I am also grateful to have the opportunity to explore my biological family and see if there are any relationships there for me. ❤️ For more chances of finding relations I recommend uploading to myheritage and Gedcom. I think they are both free to upload or at least were when I did so hopefully it will help you guys. Much love

Ha Ha.. Crystal, you're the mom!! I watched the "brothers united" video a few days back and I thought you were his big step sister all that time :D This is my second video and the credits blew me. I had to pause the video to post this first! You have great energy and you look much younger.. must be all the goodness you're spreading rubbing off on you.

So glad Alex got his DNA results back. I am also too adopted and know really nothing about my family history. I also too got emotional learning about who I was. It’s really good knowing more about who you are.

That is so beautiful to see him get these answers about his heritage. Its great that they have access to these answers about themselves and where they come from that extend beyond immediate blood relatives, which is not all that matters! Love is what matters the most! Though it is always great to be able to learn more about ourselves as human beings! Gotta love modern DNA science that we have today! It’s a terrible thing for a child to have to end up in foster care even though there are good reasons they need to leave their previous situations, that is sad too, but it is so happy and beautiful to see a child end up with their loving, caring, supportive forever family where they belong! It is a beautiful thing to see that your children have found their forevers together with you in your family. So happy for all of you!
