When the phone call is getting ready to end and the biological mom has the chance to say I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART, But instead said LATER? Then I sat and thought maybe she was in shock, embarrassed, then I realized she was adopted her mom died early. She never had the love of a mom to give her child. It's not until you get older do you realize mom is everything❤❤❤

Krystal and Aaron, you are fantastic parents with a very big heart. I love seeing the relationship you have with your adoptive children. You are a very close knitted family. My sister adopted a infant baby boy 41 years ago. She and her husband were unable to get pregnant for several years. After getting her adoptive son, she got pregnant. In less than a year she had her other son. Their was definitely a difference in the way they were treated. Her oldest son had a disability like my sons'. At the age of 8 or so, when I talked to him on the phone because we lived out of state, he always asked to come to live with us. I got help for my son and he was wanting me to help him. I told him I would love to help him but he had to talk to his parents. My sister and I spoke about it and I told her what she could do to help him with his learning disability. She never did and when he was in high school, she tried again and by that time he was so far behind and decided to drop out of school. I admire your dedication to your children but unfortunately not all adoptees get the very best of parents. My sister and husband drank a lot and their situation has caused a rift in their family. Your children are very fortunate to have you both in their lives. Keep loving them for who they are, because they come with baggage and from what I have seen, you have helped them get situated and they have overcome so much. Love to all the Crazy Pieces.

So glad for these answers. Just remember not all the hard topics need to be answered right away, it's important to be honest and talk about them. You may need to get to know your birth mom for who she is now and take some time to feel comfortable.
