Happy belated birthday Melinda! Crystal I'm sure it was traumatic for the boy that broke your arm, my son was horsing around in gym class in 5th grade and his friend tripped and broke his shoulder. It was traumatic for all of us. His friends family couldn't have been nicer to us, they knew it was an accident and that my son felt horrible and responsible. Crystal it's wonderful the way you celebrate everyone's birthdays, I try to do the same and make everybody's special. I haven't had a birthday party for me since I was about 7 years old, I just turned 58 two weeks ago. I had a neighbor who made me a cake on my 22 birthday, that was really sweet and thoughtful and I appreciated it so much. Sending love from Wilsonville Oregon

Happy Birthday Melinda! Chrome nails are cool! The lunch food looks so tasty! Helicopter rides are fun and would be cool in Arizona! I can understand how given, your previous helicopter experience, you would be nervous! I think Aaron is secretly an adrenaline junkie! I love that your mom told you the "bad" news on camera-funny how you have to worry about the kids throwing balls in the house and its your mom that broke your vase! Love that you ran into the kindergarten guy that broke your arm! :) Love that you thought grandma was covering for one of the kids! I love that Melinda was pulling the "its my birthday" trying to convince mom to go-I bet if you told her the reason why you would be off the hook quick cause she is a mama too-I forgot that she didn't know what the surprise was! The kids were so cute picking out cards and gifts! The view from the helicopter was beautiful! The phone story was funny-I made my boyfriend look all over our apartment for my glasses once-they were on my face. I even got mad at him saying he wasn't looking properly! Love Halie's hair-the color is beautiful and she totally suits bangs! Love the trip with just Melinda and parents idea-she will too! I would much rather have experiences than things! Her reaction is the sweetest!

Thank you for sharing Melinda's birthday celebration The helicopter ride was a nice surprise, Cynthia and Addison did it some years ago for their birthdays as well. Ariana was lucky she could come with. Glad Melnda had a good day. It's so funny, that Alex now sings often whilst recording or driving, but didn't want to be recorded singing when he was younger 😂.
