Family Grocery Haul | Teens Do All The Shopping
It's time for another large family grocery haul, but this one has a twist... the teens do all the shopping! Then when we get home they give you a family grocery haul and everything they got and what they will be cooking this week. This was so fun! Should we try the little kids next?

Aaron look especially cool today! Great shirt! Loved Crystal's blouse! I also love that Hannah is recognizing that she can use her privilege to help those in need. Heart warming! Savannah is the practical sister, helping keep her sisters on task. I was impressed with Luke's meal choices and willingness to try something new! A fun video.

I'm implementing this with my teens. I was just going to go with them cooking, but I love the idea of having them shop within a budget too! We homeschool so this can also be part of life skills.

I think with this next time, you guys need to add budgeting but showing them where to look for the items they are looking for. Cause the girls looked for the chicken in the freezer and not by the meat section they spent a lot on the chicken they bought like a foot $8 a box when they could of gotten a bag of chicken break stripes for like $15. And I noticed Luke couldn’t find the spices fresh but didn’t know he could use dried spice as a replacement. So I think making sure they have a meal plan before the store and showing them how to budget and swap out ingredients when things are not available to stay in budget.

I love watching y'all, you guys make me so happy and show me what a beautiful functioning family is. Crazy middles and y'all inspire me to adopt even though I don't think we could (personal reasons). I love the idea of you guys giving them a budget. I watch you guys shop and am amazed. I live by myself and can't afford to spend more than $50 a week on groceries. No fast food. I look at the drinks that they have. Starbucks and specialty drinks are definitely not in my budget. I grew up pretty much being able to buy what I wanted when my mom was alive.

Good to see that the teens are learning to eat healthier. That’s good. The folks in the background at the Walmart when they see the camera was hilarious! Their faces freeze or they scatter out of the way!

Another idea for the future is to have them each plan a meal to make in the crock pot! Add a salad to it and you have a meal. Tons of recipes to choose from. Very easy to use when they are out living on their own.

I love this! My husband is so Max though! I can cook a nice meal and he would go for Pb and J or PB and Honey sandwiches. The comforts of an old school meal! The trend did a great job! I'm curious to try the Buffalo Chicken Taco and of course The Pulled Brisket. Yummy! Please do more! Maybe have the younger kids try their turn with some help with the older teens. Like maybe pair them up? So fun! Also, Love watching for ideas too.

This would be fun with your little kids. Let the pick the meals take them check the cabinets to see what you have what you need then to the store to get what you need and to stay in budget. It would be great for them to learn to. And then to go home and help prep and cook. The could choose a fresh fruit or vegetable and meat, posta, rice what ever works

Hilarious!! Love it! Teach them how to make scallop potatoes or cheesy potato’s from scratch or frozen shredded potatoes? So much cheaper and less additives /sodium. Good job though all!!!

I baked the same dessert that Hannah & Bella are gonna make I call them Diabetic Comas and it's a cookie base with an Oreo in the middle and topped with brownie mix. You can either bake them in muffin tins or as brownie bars, they are so yummy I actually have close friends who wants me to make them for them to try lol. Happy cooking kids

If you purchased in bulk could you cut down meal from $100 each one? In the uk we’ve got loads of pages on making food for 4-6 for £5 using bulk. May work for you. Also if you encouraged the young adults to not buy all pre-made, and teach them some cooking skills, they’d save lots and learn more.

That's amazing that your kids are learning how to shop for your big family I remember when I became a step mom at the age of 16 yrs old that I had to teach myself to cook and and shop for my family and then I had my first child at 18 yrs old so it was nice and a learning experience for me to do that and then for my very first dinner I made a big salad and home made lasagna and garlic bread and it turned out amazing I made two of them and the first lasagna didn't turn out good but it was eatable and the second one was the best I love watching your KZfaq videos crystal aka the crazy pieces love ya

Hannah and Savannah have a sensible head on shoulders when their when shopping. Bella with the Oreos, then messaging she was having a Chik filet. Alex and Savannah a good meal. Pity Luke could not find all his meal, but he adapted well. Max what can I say, do not think anyone expected PB&J with a side of carrots lol. Blessings to you all.
