I remember 29, my friend described it perfectly when she said it is a year of PMS waiting for the dreaded 30. I felt that, so much angst about life, things accomplished, and regrets. It can also be a time for reflection, changes, insight, and awareness. I wish you clarity, wisdom and light as you celebrate the end of your 20s. It's a huge milestone!!

Go to the Opryland Mall, Riverboat ride down the Cumberland River to Downtown Nashville. Look for the building that looks like Batman. There is a hotel in the same area as the Opryland Mall and the Riverboat ride that is like a rainforest inside and u can take a boat ride thru the hotel. It also has a revolving restaurant inside the hotel. The Opryland Mall has an Aquarium and bowling Alley, Arcade, movie theater inside. Comedy clubs are good.

My rough one was 40, but I had just left a very abusive 23.5 year marriage the month before....and was a single mom to 3 and had moved 983 miles away from all my friends and family to escape it.. Know this Melinda....that was a crappy bday for me but omg ....little did I know how my life was going to change in such a positive way! I learned not to make the same mistakes and went back to school and made a bunch of huge changes in my life! That's the magic of being your age now... it's not too late, you can still make life exactly how you want it to be! PS I'm hitting the big 60 this year and honestly because of those changes I'm not upset about it at all, it's just a number!

Tennessee is a really great place to visit and I sure hope you will enjoy your trip there and don’t forget to visit Dollywood because it’s a great place to visit! If you are into National Parks, you should definitely visit Great Smoky National Park as well!

True I am 29 turning 30 in December this year and I feel very reflective and sometimes it frustrates me because I've had mental health issues and it very much has given me a late start in life and I still think about how I am not where other 29 year olds are but I don't compare myself anymore to anyone I am trying to build my KZfaq channel though because I am passionate about all things creative.... Summer in Tennessee is very fun, lots of things to do and you can count on sunny days. The weather is very different from what you are used to, it will be super humid. Fall is also an amazing time to go, if you prefer nature and the color changing of the trees, less humidity and cooler weather. Everyone loves Nashville but I recommend Memphis as well.

I will say that if Nashville tn is where you want to visit because you love country music you should definitely go to the Grandolopry its a good experience plus there is a mall in the same area. Happy birthday Melinda do not feel bad about being 29. I also turned 29 back in February and I also leave close to nashville so I figured I would give ideas for things to do.

Happy Birthday Melinda!! 🎂 I just turned 20 a couple days ago. Also like you, I love listening to country music and have been to Nashville a few years ago. One place you should definitely check out as a country music lover is the Country Music Hall of Fame. You should also stop by Boot Country and get a photo with the big boot outside the building

Happy birthday Melinda!! My best friend lives in Nashville and I visit every year. My favorite restaurant is sixty vines, favorite coffee is 8th & roast and definitely try 5 daughters bakery for donuts 🍩 try to get into blue bird cafe to watch live music! Tickets go on sale like a week out and you have to be quick. Have the best time!
