Ender 3: shrsl.com/413xd
This is my review of the new Creality Ender 3 3D printer. It's a $200 pre-assembled kit that arrives with everything you need to get started. The assembly will take 1 hour, but you will be able to start 3d printing right away. My tests showed that the printer was able to print PLA, flexible, nylon and ceramic filament. The printing quality is world class, sometimes it's impossible to actually see the layer lines! The compact size also made it possible to print at a fairly high speed. Overall performance and affordability makes this a printer that I strongly recommend.

I’ve had this printer for almost 2 years now. I’ve printed tons of prints and I have had literally no failed prints or problems. I was concerned about choosing the right printer because about how many there are. I am super glad with the results and hopefully I can print far into the future. P.s. I use Prusa slicer to slice my models. I love finding models off of thingiverse and I use fusion 360 to design my own models. This printer is super easy to use and fun for anyone, ever people who are not into robotics.

That's great to hear. I am pretty new to 3D printing and the Ender 3 Pro seemed like a good choice for that price range. So far it's going good and I hope to start designing my own 3d prints.

@@AlexGutierrez1901. So the files are just 3D models, and you have to use a software known as a slicer so it can translate that model into slices the printer can read and print. I use the software Ultimaker Cura, its free and easy to use.

@@michaelrohlmann4661 I recommend the Ender 3 V2 or pro if your looking for a budget printer. It prints pretty good and has a build range of 220×220×250 mm. Great for prints that aren't too large but its a great printer for the money. Cost me about $250 with taxes and a roll of filament i bought separately.

The frame is sturdy, the instructions and controls are easy to navigate and it takes literally any filament! *And all for less than $230!!!* My only problems were a loose bed and a crushed bowden tube clamp, but there were tools to tighten the bed rollers and a spare clamp was provided. Great video buddy! I enjoyed hearing your opinions and thoughts. I've followed your channel for a long time. I remember when you were building planes, using Experimental Airlines build methods. I am actually still using his methods and I'm still loving every flight. I'm finding myself in situations when I would like to have a 3D printer and the Ender 3 has been recommended to me. Now, this particular video of yours is 2 years old. In your opinion, is the Ender 3 still a great 3D printer for beginners? I've never used one. This will be all new to me and I value your thoughts! Take care!

I had one of those. arrived broken. returned it. hows that for a review?
@ccdbcvtrider1
@ccdbcvtrider1 6 жыл бұрын
the parts that came broken were the factory 3d printed Z axis supports. the screw holes were stripped and then the piece cracked from one hole to the other. the other issues I had was a faulty heating bed, it didnt heat up, and one one side, the bottom "spring" shaped metal part at the bottom of the z axis, was warped, this allowed the printer head to descend to the built plate, but not rise. I really dont thing all this was damage from shipping. the box arrived with not a single scrape on it to indicate any kind of mis-handling of the unit.

@@jpuck6221 its a pretty darn solid machine! Its great for the price, but a nightmare to set up. at the time, I was really inexperienced, and when I tried to do a print all of it was sliding on the plate. turns out I had to adjust it. it took me two weeks to figure that out. thank god it came with a little spool of filament since I was able to calibrate it before my filament arrived. but once I got everything set up, the machine is great! I would recommend if you have the time to set something like this up, but you just want something working out of the box get a monoprice

Did you have to change your nozzle for the nylon filament? I read that the ender 3 nozzle doesn’t work well with the print temps nylon requires. Love you videos! Looking forward to more of them.

Great videos! I'm planning my first 3d printer but bit confused between Anycubic I3 Mega and Ender 3 i guess the tie breaker would be the flexible filament and filament sensor but can you tell if Ender 3 has the capability to re-start printing from the same spot where it left off after a power failure or due to some other reasons?
