22 .Wow. I'm already impressed. And the (more of less, It seems to me) self calibration is a plus.But maybe I'm used to an older technology.

What soft steel is that? I have this machine and could not get even the smallest mark on a knife, or othe kinds of steel…

No one tries leather on these demos. I guess it is a specialized usage for it. I would use something like this for small production runs. Prototyping. I wonder how to keep the leather very flat while lasing. Maybe next time.

I did some engraving on my leather pen case with my xTool. But I can for sure shoot some leather

@@Doodlebud I use anywhere from 1.5mm to 2 mm leather for my small projects. I just have to know if a 22 watt laser plotter will cut through cleanly. I know the really big ones can with some power adjustments. It will even cut the stitching holes. Thanks DB.

Did you have success with leather? Find a good way to keep it down?

This machine doesn't come complete with the honeycomb mat. The rotary axis part or the enclosure. All of those are extra options if you're buying the machine.

[head explodes] 3/4" (19mm) PLYWOOD?!?!? Whoa... I may have to replace my 40W CO2 laser from FullSpectrum.

Actually it was 3/4 knotty pine board. Not too shabby

@@Doodlebud Still, for a laser which has to have some sort of focal length within which there's a range of "cutting power" output, that's a pretty thick cut. I haven't tried that slow a speed, but I know mine will start to have some trouble going beyond 1/4"(6mm) plywood. Plus, I'd like not having to bounce a beam around inside a case with special mirrors, because mine is one of those with a big glass tube in a rear chamber that emits the beam.

I didn't see the enclosure listed on their website. I'm wondering if that is included or if it's something they just sent you as a reviewer?

Hmmm had a look as well and didn't see it there either, perhaps they sent it to me as it will be on their site soon? I did find it on Amazon but it wasnt from the official Creality store. Search for Creality Laser Engraver Enclosure on amazon.com

I'm comparing xTool 20W laser and Creqlity Falcon2 22W laser. You have tried both. Do you have opinion which is better?

It's a tricky call. They are both very good & both have pros & cons. Xtool has the framing laser feature which is very handy. The Creality has software controlled air assist which is so nice, and the keyed lockout feature. They both operate well so mainly personal preference. Longevity of the guide rails on the Creality system is the only concern I have. It may or may not be an issue after extended use.

A lot of expense to make little do dads what is the point of that. I need something bigger to make address signs, monument markers ect.

I wondered as I watched- why you didn’t familiarize yourself with the ‘included-instruction-manual’ so you could call out the names of each part that Creality names.., so you wouldn’t have to guess what each thing does? No manual? Then shame on Creality.., There is a Manual? Then shame on You for not doing an informed review- Accurate Reviews with good info are priceless!
