Hello guys, today i gonna be showing you how to pause a print change filament so you can multi color print anything on the creality printer

in orca slicer (and some others) you can slice, and slide the right layer view slider to where you want to do a filament change, right click and click 'pause' or in orca if you added more than 1 filament (so you can preview your colors) right click and select 'change filament' and pick the other filament, don't forget to change it back if you only want one or more layers.

Thank you for this! Hopefully they will implement it directly into the slicer in a future update. But this will work for the time being!

@@Premier98I've seen it in the slicer and tried to get it to work on the K1, but it never has. Have they actually patched it to work now?

My question is what if I want o do eyes black will it do that full section black or will it only do the eyes

Great videos, but try to upgrade your microphone, barely can understand what you say, it’s super muffle.

Seems like a big waste of filament to cut it at the filament runout sensor instead of just pulling the piece out

Have you tried adding the 'Pause' in the Printer settings tap, G-Code section, scroll to Change filament G-Code and add PAUSE. It should then add to your file/gcode automatically. Should work for colour changes in layer and layer height.

Even een tip als je filament wisselt dan houdt je in eerste instantie de klem van de extruder nog op gesloten als hij klaar is met retract actie open je de hendel en kan je de draad eruit trekken je hoeft er dus niets af te knippen het voordeel is dat je dan niets verliest en heb je voor de volgende keer als je die kleur laadt er een mooi puntje aan
