Clapton is the only person to be in the rock and roll hall of fame Three Times...as a solo artist, as a member of Cream and as a member of The Yardbirds. The Yardbirds at one point had Clapton, Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck as guitarists and would eventually form the foundation for the great group Led Zeppelin.

It’s a crowd at a 2017 London Greenday concert, singing Bohemian Rhapsody together. The first time I saw it I was almost overwhelmed with tears at the obvious love people have for Freddie and Queen. I also came across an iPhone video of a 2yr old singing Bohemian Rhapsody while in her car seat. I was crying I was laughing so hard! Both are worth seeing.

6:35 - right on - just because I've known of them for decades, doesn't mean you, or anyone else should. It is like living in a town - there will be areas you have never been because there was no reason to - sometimes they may be only a street or two away - and there will be other areas you know well even if they're across town. Music is like that, just like films (movies), and all sorts of other things - there will always be now stuff coming your way, even if some of that is very old - heck, heard a Queen track earlier tonight that I am quite sure I had never heard before despite listening to them for ~45 years! Similarly, there is a LOT of 'rap', rythme'n'blues, country, etc. music I have never herd - it wasn't what I listened too.

Clapton and others from Yardbirds also went through the great John Mayall Bluesbreakers of the early 60's. John, still recording and performing in his 80's launched dozens of careers. Check him out on Wikipedia sometime. It is a remarkable list of people that teamed up with him.

Not bad for senior citizens. The first supergroup, with arguably the greatest guitarist, bassist and drummer in rock.

You sure got that right: it was hard to believe that only three cats made all that music. Saw them on their first tour, 1967, at the Fillmore. We knew it was guitar, bass, drums, but we still kept looking for the other musicians. None there. none needed.

"them ol school cats were kickin it!" No sheet-ite. These guys here r like 60-65yrs young. Chk out the wheels of fire live. Came out 50+ yrs ago. Cream's best version of Crossroads. Didn't realize it was recorded "live". Sounds so clean. Nxt song is Spoonful. Give a listen. U won't b disappointed. I guarantee.
