Create 3D Tiles for your boardgames using Decoupage

2 жыл бұрынAs a lover of boardgames, I also love to "deluxify" my boardgaming experience.
As a backer of the future @CMON game, "Zombicide: Undead or Alive", I thought it would be pretty cool to have a 3D version of the gaming tiles (which make up the boardgame).
I downloaded a copy of the latest game tile images, shared on their recent Kickstarter update and produced a quick "mock-up" 3D Tile using a simple decoupage technique.
On sharing, I was asked if I would create a "How to" video so here it is...!

Now my first proper Zombicide game has finally arrived (landed this morning in UK courtesy of UPS), I'll now get to try this "in anger" 😁❤️

chipboard might have been a sturdier alternative. but nice video.

Thank you ❤️ Whilst I agree chipboard would definitely be sturdier, part of three challenge of projects for me is space and light weight design vs. durability... But otherwise, if storage is no issue, chipboard, lightweight woods would absolutely work 👍😃

Ha ha... It's a simple but effective way to have a nice 3D effect without genuine clutter... Posed as a question on the basis that it's "one way" not necessarily the best or only way and appreciating many simply would not want the additional "space overhead" 😉 (Sound is improving now I have a mic 🎤! 👍😁)

It will be due to my limited space and needing to record at night once the family have gone to bed but being directly under their bedrooms... Will have a proper office space next year, due to change of job which will eliminate this issue 🙏 Thank you for the comment though 😊
