Nice! Very clear! What's about adding grass where only green color + blend it with dirt?

It's because I'm using runtime virtual texture with my grass mesh, and if you use textured ground, the texture will be projected to the grass mesh and it doesn't look good. So either use texture on the ground without RVT on your grass mesh or without RVT and with the textured ground. You can also experiment and find a way to use both :)

i prefer using pixel normals for snows and moss, heightblends for anything else

I know it's late but maybe someone will find it helpful, I had a normal map with a bit of white edges on my rocks, I re-made the texture to make white less visable and that fixed it
