Hello Lovelies ... for today's free wire tutorial, I want to share a technique than even absolute beginners to wire jewellery can utilise.
My Infinity Link Chain is super accessible using minimal tools and NO fire! You don't need soldering skills to create a strong linked chain that will last for years.
I've worked in raw copper round wire in a 1mm (18g) but it works beautifully in much heavier wires too. I show you in the video what it looks like in 1.5mm (14g) wire.
This is a totally accessible design; you need a round form (I used the 6mm side of some bail making pliers), chain nose pliers and good flush cutters. You CAN hammer gently on heavier wires if you want, but you don't even need a block and hammer to create this chain.
Hope you love it as much as I do (mine has very fond memories).
Love, Jem xxx

My Mum told me when I was a child that I could choose to light up a room when I enter it, so that is what I try to do. No matter how dark I feel inside, I try to bring the light. If I can do that for just one person then I'm doing what I should (and thank you) xxx

Thanks so much for your interesting and informative tutorials. I have enjoyed them and have learned a lot. You mentioned that your copper piece was hammered then "sealed". Would you tell us what you use to seal your copper? I have tried several different products, but the copper still oxidizes. Would you tell us what do you use? Thanks so much and I am looking forward to more tutorials.

Thank you ever so much for your kind comments. I really appreciate you making the time. I often use a product such as Renaissance wax to seal copper. It will keep it at the stage that I have taken it to, so, if I have oxidised the copper, then it will stay that kind of black, or if the copper is still bright pink when I use the wax, it will stay bright pink. Hope this helps, and again, thank you for watching xxx

You're changing the surface of the metal when you Hammer it, it can be put into a tumbler to polish it, or used with a rotary polisher (eg, a dremel).
