Love the icon emoji styling ,however all images can link to elsewhere even carousel images However you can add custom button via embed code with HTML + style and some JS if you want it to do something specific

thanks for your support, but I have a question. how to remove that "i" button from the google site? this button is preinstalled and by clicking it it's showing report abuse. you can find this button left hand side below the site.

Hi - I was tracking with you until the "simple drag and drop" part. I dragged it and dropped it from Google drawings itself because I was unable to drag and drop it from the image I'd just downloaded, and after that I have had a lot of problems. When I hover over it, there is no crop option, so there's an annoying white area above and below my button (when I go into the image in Drawings, it's not there, so I don't know how to change it). It also doesn't allow me to create a link to another website. The only options I have are "Open in a new tab" and "Remove"... what am I doing wrong?

Do you know any tricks for footers on google sites? ATM it seems I can only insert text into the footer. I'd really like to be able to insert a logo or google drawing into the footer. I'd love to see if this can be done?

I cannot find Google drawing, I checked my waffle and even clicked on "More from google Workspace Marketplace" it does not show up in the search. It would much easier if they allowed resizing of buttons directly in the google sites editor.

You could set the link to link to a Google drive shared file. That way, the people clicking it would be directed to that file. However the link can be shared in other ways, so it may not be the most secure way to do that.

We all do. Make sure to send feedback using the feedback menu on what you want. The team over at google really reads this and actions top requested features. Many have been added this year and even more are coming!

Google sites are not really developed for eshops or online shopping. There are more specific website that have this built into their platform, which I would use to create an online shop.
