It helps if the lighting makes sense for the subsequent shadows. Shadows fan out(perspective), widen and fade(gradient) the farther from the light.

Thanks Gary, I think that for the shadow lines on the model to align perfectly with the lines on the background the light source would have to be at the level of the camera and directed parallel to the axis of the camera lens. If we were to offset the lines on the model from those in the background, i think we would get a more realistic depth and separation. What are your thoughts? Does that make sense? Thanks again.

Totally correct. To refine it further I’d also warp over contour surfaces. This will hopefully help folks get started with it. Thanks for watching😁👍
